This games is mostly about rotations, side wave management etc. You need a collectively input from people. Case and point by your logic: you define the shotcalling based on who makes a very specific call which rarely comes up and is mostly defined for them based on other elements like scaling (for a 50mins game one team will generally always win a tf). Was just giving a specific example but whatever you can't make the difference between can and will.

I read the exact same "west is the best" fanboyism in S2 before Asia came into the picture and showed how bad everyone (except a few European teams) were mediocre. I hope YS gets sent home ASAP because the ass-licking he gets from some of you is unbearable. You don't even know who called what in TSM today, but surely he is not to blame. Then again, who knows, maybe his shotcalling is the exact opposite of his actual gameplay, which would mean he's the best shotcaller in the universe. (After Hai, of course) Zzz, TSM games bringing the tensions. I really hope they will never fade away; it'd be boring. Dont take it offensive but are you new to LoL scene? Just because he has been playing bad in one split doesnt mean that he is a bad player. He already showed success with different kind of rosters in his career, has two Worlds semi finals and one Worlds final in his name. Everyone on TSM playing bad anyway, perhaps except DL idk. They are mess anyway and its nothing to do with Yellowstar.

They are mess anyway and its nothing to do with Yellowstar. I brought my example from S2, so that should answer your question. I started watching LoL in the era, when we were starstruck by such gargantuans like TSM, Moscow 5, CLG, SK, etc. It was the glory days of blissful ignorance. In SC2, everyone was skeptic from the start, given the history of BW? but, hey, it's a new game, a team game, TSM and M5 got to be the best teams in the world, right? Right?! Then MLGs came, then the WC, and the bubble popped. Basically that was the last time when NA could be considered good and they still crashed hard. Though, to be fair, S3 C9 got fucked majorly by Riot's incompetent WC system, they deserved much more than one BO3. So no, I can't do anything else but roll my eyes, when I read that [insert western player here] is the best at something in the world. Hai has a great story behind him, Riot doing a great job establishing these, so we get hooked in, and he is a really good shotcaller, but by no means the best in the world. It's just so happened that we are sold stories about western people, instead of praising all the shotcallers in the dominating regions from Asia. What will make you tune into NA LCS every week? Knowing that Hai is this demi-god shotcaller, carrying C9 and showing the west how it's done, or some "boring, well-mannered" asian guy, who is even better than him, but he doesn't have nearly as dramatic history as Hai and C9. And as for YS, how is he not to blame? First of all, I haven't heard any voice comms from this game, I don't know who to blame for the calls, but if you do, please provide me with a source. Maybe there's a leaked voice comm already, where YS telling the team the winning strategy, but Dlift and Bjerg just called him fatty and laughed at him, proceeding to throw the game. Also, speak up! If Hai was on TSM and they would not listen to him, he would tell them fair and square what's the situation: either listen to him, or he leaves and they can keep running around like headless chickens. Or, at the very least, he could play like... good? Yes, you guys washed him out with excuses that he is not supposed to be a mechanical god, he is a shotcaller, blabla, but right now, he is utterly shallow performance wise. Grab a random CS support and he will be capable of doing what YS pulled off so far in this season, without taking up an import spot.
