LOL so what hidden talents were Edg scrimmage at the time? You're taking apart your own argument here.

This thread has turned into a bigger shitshow than Renegades v. Dignitas. Thats saying something....
But for real, RNG v. Fnatic and TSM v. SKT sound interesting enough. May not be close games but itll still be interesting to watch given how few international games there are. I expect SKT to win handily but stranger things have happened

Really? Think skt vs rng will be good. Mata versus feeder wolf please. Fakers back has a limit.

I'm so sad that SKT went 2-0 in groups playing Blank.
Was hoping that World Championships this year would be exciting esp because they're in NA so I can see more of it, but looks like we're in for KR vs KR finals again.
I already watch LCK so it would be nice if international competition was 1) actually international or 2) actually a competition.

These games show nothing since the top teams are not playing. lel

As expected, CLG only know how to win through split pushing, and Darshan is overrated as fuck.

CLG's lost here had nothing to do with "lack of carry" or "lack of mechanics" They made no plays mechanically. Perhaps you might say their teamfight target calling was bad. But they need a star outside of Aphromoo, who is their best player at, unfortunately, a position that is not very impactful at the moment. Darshan is the Mejais of toplaners, he wins more when CLG is winning, else useless.

Yes, but we have learned that this is a lie created by bad overall Chinese teamfighting. Its been true for all non-EDG teams since S4, at least. QG is a good teamfighting team, in China. China is a decent region because they have sick talent, but haven't been relevant in international tournaments where they dont win lane since S2/IPL5 WE.

Uzi has been pretty much their best player today As is always the case with CN teams in international competition. Their relevance is about individual skill. Whence Rookie and Imp being the players from the region playing well at worlds while their teams collapsed around them. But Peco is better at trashing fools now, so probably better to try to get him in for the 50/50 chance he trashes the mediocre Fnatic botlane.

DoinB is a legit LPL midlaner. He was equal to or better than GodV in last year's playoffs. The problem with QG is they use tactics and strategies that are straight up bad, but don't get punished in the majority of LPL games (why? no one knows).

I doubt he became worse/better instantly, and his rise/fall correlates more with how well his team does. Same thing can be said with QG players/ Febiven looked what. He was complete garbage in the first 4 games tonight. Can this thread at least give props to Gamsu and Spirit for carrying the dead weight tonight. Yes, and Putting Rekkles on Jihn, a mediocre champion, but the most Rekkles champion in the game.

China is always garbage. Complete trash region, it's a wonder they even know how to play League. Worst premier region, they've always been garbage. They should just start importing BR players because that's how little worth their players are. Region that's never been good should just not play at all. There, you don't have to post anymore. I wonder, did EHOME's loss really cause that much brain damage? China attracts a lot of shittalking because China fans are generally the only ones who think they can beat our Korean overlords. Rather because they are the rich boys and spent millions to pick apart succesful and beloved Korean teams, only to end up in the same spot as before.
Yes, China made the most fun league in the world less fun, without making international tournaments more fun.

Doinb is awful. Yes, you can call him a 'solid LPL mid laner' but looking at all these Chinese teams sandbagging nowadays, I don't even know if that's a compliment, kek.
Jhin is fun to watch, you can't say he's not.

How could TSM and fnatic qualify in spite of being trashed at home? Is China still vastly overrated?

Don't know what ratings you talking about but anyone in the know should have been talking about how everyone at this event is looking not particularly good going in so it was most likely the most "even" international event league has had to date. Less about teams being good and more about which teams be worse.
Having said that Fnatic did step up quite a bit in their last series, they finally looked like they were on the same page. TSM idk looked suspect to me but got the easiest group to win as Ever is not good at all.

Bjergsen is ridiculously good this tournament woah. If he were to play in LCS, TSM wouldve been 2nd after IMT easily.
