If you want to judge them on recent performances with Selfie it seems a bit harsh.

Monte and Thorin spews so much dumb shit (mostly the latter though), and its almost never called out on. It seems that Thorin has decided to focus more on CSGO though, which is a good thing. Compared to a lot of the riot casters they really don't that is why it never happens. Also when that is your only evidence why would you decide he can play it? Don't see anything wrong with that statement. You do sound incredibly salty though.

Immortals doesn't have a glaring weakness, whereas Odo even loses lane to the likes of Csacsi and Kikis. I imagine that would be exploited hard. Plus Forgiven has the dumbest builds lately.

This might be a shocking discovery for you but players can improve. All those players at some point weren't even diamond level.

Dunno, he was doin pretty well against SKT at MSI last year. Part of the reason they took SKT to 5 games. Players can develop and grow and you know improve over time.

I just said it was dumb he would decide to play it but when Monte told him could not play it. (That was what happened during worlds). In terms of salty, I think its extremely problematic when two community creators have such a gigantic impact on creating what people are supposed to mean of different players. There are ton of thing wrongs with their argumentation and how they come to conclusions. You do sound incredibly salty though. Well you could opt not to misinterpret what I actually wrote.

And Smeb got the LongPanda award during the same time frame. People improve and find teams that suit them better. RO performed well internationally with Fnatic VS junglers like Bengi, Kakao, Clearlove, etc., I don't think the "GameOver" moniker has been relevant for about 5 months now.

well monte had only these games after playoffs to base his opinion. between end of summer and worlds wasnt any official games to get any information on huni champ pool. also its last years buisnes. its not like monte said that right now. The default assumption should be that Huni - who is mechanically strong and likes to play carries - probably had practiced a ton of Gangplank and would be very good at it by Worlds. Unless you performed extensive research on his soloq games/scrims, you shouldn't say anything else about his expected level of the champion going into worlds.
