If korea also falls it will be the worst tournament in years I'm bored skillwise maybe but unless you are a diehard chinese fan don't see how is this one the most boring skillwise, yes. there hasn't been a good series yet and none of the b01's were good either.
Was there a good series, skillwise, last year?

If they were that bloated they would have gotten Samsung players

to be honest, watching white decimate people is an interesting display of skill if you are into that kinda thing, personally I often enjoy that type of game to a close game where one of the teams could end but sucks too much to do so.

Even if they offered salaries in the same ballpark as other teams, the Samsung players would still be more likely to sign with IG/LGD/EDG/WE for being organizations with more stable brand recognition.

SSW was just ahead of the time with their jungle/support synergy and deep warding. If you throw current SKT vs that team maybe SSW wouldn't look as sharp.

To be fair, I think PPD is actually a genius, which we don't have in LoL except for Hai who is stuck in an average team. Indeed, I think despite it all, the West benefited a lot from HoN pros mainly coming to Dota rather than LoL. Also, in Dota, American teams are able to recruit from everywhere, while import rules in LCS make that a bit difficult.

Samsung flair...ok. I'm sure Samsung will manage to be relevant sometime this century bro.

But hasn't SKT done the same then thus far?

I mean you are pretty much alone if you don't think white would be a favorite in this years event had they existed

still irrelevant, it was implied there were 0 skill games last year and I said to me those counted, neither of the things you pointed out counter that argument.

It's so sad that the Korean Exodus happened because regardless of who wins Worlds this year the level of the best team is way lower than it would have been had it not happened.

I agree with this but I disagree that it will be worse than last year.

We don't know that for sure. It's a different season and a different meta; there was no guarantee that White/Blue would succeed again in Korea.
Also remember they have Imp/Dade who are known to be... well, inconsistent.
