I think he started believing his own stupid "Lust Cena" hype a bit too much, without realizing it was against crappy NA competition. Competition got better, he's still doing stupid stuff all day long. Never going to cut it on the world stage.

Lustboy got worse over time imo, he either didn't put in the effort to improve, let the FREESM stuff get to him, or he was a failing player.

Like he had a very similar pattern on CJ Blaze, when the meta started to drift away from him CJ had to literally build an entire strat around covering him and cptjack by sending helios bot with nasus so they can three man shove to keep the pressure of flame and ambition.

On disengage supports like nami and janna he's great (The legendary lustboy lulu) but this meta is never going to accommodate that so he's stuck in a hole. Janna, still legit good.

KT's play was just beautiful. Very calculated risks, quick and decisive rotations, overall really polished. Before I thought they were quite good, but now I'm actually quite impressed.

KT played the game well, yeah. Although LGD had some absolutely atrocious decision making, Imp gave free kills to Arrow's Kog. Very curious how they play vs OG, Niels vs Arrow hype.

But yeah LGD's collapse can only really be understood by LGD themselves, Pyl's shotcalling dropped off a cliff. Imp had a very good game against origen then went full garbage mode against KT and I don't even want to talk about godv. One of these things happening is understandable but all of them at the same time and you're on some S3 SSW shit. As for TBQ I don't consider this a falloff, more a regression to mean on his abilities.

His job is to babysit his lanes, LGD has three massive threats, but right now the team is just in shambles, GODV really letting me down, Imp is playing sloppy. Was Acorn doing that bad? I just thought he had no impact on the game, but he wasn't throwing the game. KT played the game well, yeah. No one has ever said he was good. He's a joke in LPL where the fact that LGD managed to win with him is a miracle.

Of course that can depend a lot on the final result too ; EDG not winning worlds would certainly break the Korean players' faith in a possible Chinese-Korean cooperation whereas if EDG does end up winning they might just stay in China in the hope that the Chinese teammates they get next year are less heavy. I know Acorn's play looked questionable too but he wasn't talking about the team's play at this particular tournament, it was a very broad statement. In general, I wouldn't be surprised if a good number of Koreans were legitimately upset at the teammates they are getting.
