Would this TSM be better than current Fnatic? teamplay matters so much more now/in the current meta that it would be hard to tell b/c we'd have to see how well they play together, but even then I think Fnatic has the better head to head position matchups.

He has a high scoreline and high damage count, but it's not hard to get when you let TiP engage onto his team and press R over and over again. MVP was either Rush for trying to carry so hard from the jungle or Piglet. he had really good shockwaves in multiple games. Yeah it was partially TiP misplays but he still executed, and it being an official broadcast they like to downplay mistakes and make up for it by overhyping solid execution. Plus he arguably played the best on TL and I don't think they're gonna do the give losing team MVP thing.

I don't care how good your team was in spring split
For different things though.

This CLG without Link I think has shown that they are an unknown quantity. You can't really judge them off of past results like you can other teams such as TSM or TL.

I would've loved to see Ekko banned in that CLG vs TiP series; just to see how well Xmithie would have played without him. They had a good series vs TiP, but they didn't stomp them by any means. Judging by how well TSM has been playing I think it'll be difficult for CLG to win. Although it'd be nice to see.

They won 3 - 0 which in my book at least is always going to be a stomp. The games certainly weren't clean and there were points where it looked like TIP was winning, but who cares if in the end you just lose every game.

Who cares what team qualifies for worlds its not like it matters. In the end we all bow down to our Chinese/Korean overlords.
|
ORIGEN should take it to game five.
Just looking at the previous games they played, fnatic not a huge favorite tbh. 55% 45% i'd say.
|
i expect 3-1 or even 3-0 for fnc tbh

So, they've played two games. Not enough to get much useful from, but anyway
One was close; OG threw massively.
And in the other, OG got smashed.
OG's only playoff series was against a team they honestly kind of counter in playstyles, and they still lost a game when Amazing was lost and Niels didn't have a good game. Amazing is better than Loulex; Reignover is much better than both. Febiven simply outclasses Peke in game impact now. Soaz does fine against weak or inconsistent tops (Odo is inconsistent), Huni is notably better. OG's bot lane is the best part of the team; it's arguably so for Fnatic as well.
I really don't see any reason for this to be close.

Because there's more to analyzing and predicting who will win a series than looking at previous games and asking 'who won? 'who lost?' But if we're going on that criteria alone. TSM has beaten CLG all 4 times they played in the Spring and Summer split. Pretty sure that streak goes further back into season 4 as well. Don't get me wrong, I hope CLG beats the pants off of FreeSM. I just don't see it happening.

oh yay, it s the russian spy!

fnatic vs fnatic.rejects
fnatic split in two and they still play in lcs finals altogether l o l.
|
it's cool to hype it up like that but everyone knows it's going to be a shit stomp
|
Instead of watching the amazingly fun analysis desk, QG vs LGD is still going on!
|
As long as we get some Fiora top action on Huni like Acorn was busting out I'll be happy with stomps.
edit: I thought it was over? I tuned out on game 5 with LGD having quite the lead.
|
This is not going to be as close as was hyped. Fnatic is going to win 3-0. 24 wins and a regame the dream.
|
I think the series will be close.
