They didn't finish as strong, but they still are the same team that crushed Korea these past months. Meanwhile, SKT looked unconvincing against CJ. I would give the teams 50/50 chances. Crushed who now? In the second half of the season they lost to KT and SKT and on top of that lost to a huge underdog WE. Meanwhile SKT has gone undefeated. Wouldn't say they looked unconvincing considering when they put in their real roster they won 3 - 0. Edit: Though Bengi pulling a reverse Link was definitely not expected by me.

Meanwhile, SKT looked unconvincing against CJ. Both teams played pretty well imo. I have a feeling SKT were running Tom as their jungler and were keeping Bengi as their secret weapon to surprise opponents with a sudden change in game pace. But Tom didn't perform and they had to pull Bengi in, who played pretty great games, while the rest of SKT did their thing and showed us why the threat comes from every lane. I mean sure, SKT could have mowed CJ over in another universe, but CJ played pretty well, Space especially played fantastic, it was just Bang had his best game ever. Anyway, I'm rooting for SKT 3-1. And I do think Tom will be in the first lineup, because preparing for two junglers is enormous pressure for the opponent. But GE are not going down without a fight, that loss at IEM probably still sits with them, and they are not going to tilt on their home turf. Be interesting to see if Bang can bring his performance vs CJ with him, or maybe Faker will be allowed to play some playmaking champions, instead of Lulu. Besides, if it goes to game 5, Faker will just pick LB and then we can all go home.

He's probably the best LB in the world but that doesn't mean just because he picks it the other team will just gg out..He's 12-0 on LB and that's it. Koro1 before LPL final was 18-0 on Gnar, and Clearlove before the tank meta came was at least 10-0 on Lee Sin.

People wouldn't give Faker Leblanc 18 times in a season, or even 10. He got it once when bans were available.

It has been permaban status for a long, long time. He's only been able to get it 12 times in his career and that's saying something. Not the same as Koro's gnar. I wouldn't say single-handedly, SKT playing around the LB pick is usually what lets Faker be so impactful

It was a joke man, I know that technically the stat doesn't mean much for upcoming games, but hey, I really enjoy Faker crushing people's dreams when he gets Leblanc. I agree more with this line of thought: SKT playing around the LB pick is usually what lets Faker be so impactful SKT isn't some soloQ team, Faker can carry with Leblanc alone, but that doesn't mean SKT doesn't know how to play on their strengths. It's like Faker playing Lulu because they can trust Bang to carry, the team is pretty solid atm.
