He may know some basic stuff. pdd said they didn't want fnatic to get 剑魔 which is aatrox in china. So it was possibly a mis-pronounciation to ‘Alex'. But yeah he sucks lol

I think China in particular is notorious for very bad junglers relative to other reasons. I know we all think about Lovelin from OMG during Worlds (but he was actually a support), but let's not forget Lucky from Royal (god what a shitlord) or Clearlove from WE when he threw the game numerous times against CLG.eu.

Well the teams need a translator for everything from getting food/checking in to hotels/flying/everything else outside of league. He could just be a guy the team have to deal with everything non-chinese during the trip, and the interviews are just a sub-point in his job description.

All fnatic had to do was play safe and go to lategame, instead they feed in 2 lanes and yellowstar getting caught 3 times in a row and peke greeding twice after a safe kill, and now we have to tolerate a bunch people saying they had no chance. Talk about being result oriented...

I think experience and preparation won IG that game. They have a clear level one strategy prepared. That level one strategy was very simple: you show up at each of your lanes at the beginning, making your opponent to think that it will be a regular opening, while you lane swap at the very last minute. Then the top player of the other team is screwed.
This was used by one team during this season of LPL, possibly even against IG.
