Yeah it's how I've been explaining them to my friends who don't watch OGN - they're a korean CLG NA, except better in every way. Hell, even the top laner is comparatively crap on both teams :o
oh come on. Yes Homme sucked in the beginning but he buckled down and trained the champions which his team want him to play. He did an awesome job in the game against KT B.

Aye he played very well in that series but you can't deny the similarities - both are known for hardly ever carrying their teams, gravitating to tanky champions and giving up kills where it isn't needed.

However, where Homme learns what the team needs him to play, CLG builds around Hotshot's champion pool, which is a big difference in terms of drafting and comp efficiency.

Discussion of the nature of the circuit points for the Season 3 World Championship might be relevant before the upcoming quarter-final matches, and of course the All Stars Championship, which will decide whether Korea gains a third qualification spot.
Three seasons worth of points will be gathered (Winter, Spring, and Summer), one of which is already complete, and another half-way done.
OGN 1st place: 400 points OGN 2nd place: 200 points OGN 3rd place: 150 points OGN 4th place: 100 points
Below that are the points for NLB placements, a tournament for non-OGN teams and OGN teams that have been knocked out. NLB is structured as follows:
NLB Gold League: Top eight "amateur" teams battle it out, with four teams progressing to the next round NLB Platinum League: Top four "amateur" teams are joined by four OGN teams that have been knocked out of the RO12, with four teams progressing to the next round NLB Diamond League: The four teams that made it through are joined by OGN teams that have been knocked out of the RO8
NLB 1st place (so essentially OGN 5th place, in a manner): 100 points NLB 2nd place: 70 points NLB 3rd place: 50 points NLB 4th place: 40 points NLB Diamond League: 20 points NLB Platinum League: 10 points
With OGN RO8 being half-way done, and the NLB Platinum League almost complete, the accumulated circuit points are as follows, ranked by guaranteed points as of now.
1. Najin Sword: 400 points + guaranteed 20 points (420 points) -> Potential for 800 points by the end of the Spring season 2. CJ Entus Frost: 200 points + guaranteed 20 points (220 points) -> Potential for 600 points by the end of the Spring season 3. KT Rolster B: 150 points + guaranteed 20 points ( 170 points) -> Potential for 250 points by the end of the Spring season 4, CJ Entus Blaze: 100 points + guaranteed 20 points (120 points) -> Potential for 500 points by the end of the Spring season 4. MVP Ozone: 20 points + guaranteed 100 points (120 points) -> Potential for 420 points by the end of the Spring season 6. MVP Blue: 110 points for now, failed to progress to NLB Diamond League (110 points) 7. SK Telecom T1 #2: 0 points + guaranteed 100 points (100 points) -> Potential for 400 points by the end of the Spring season
Out of the seven teams already guaranteed 100 points or more by the end of the Spring season, five teams are left in the OGN tournament. The two teams with the highest number of points lost the chance to separate themselves further from the rest due to the brackets forcing them to play each other at the RO8. If Najin Sword goes all the way this season, they will be locked in for the Season 3 World Championship no matter what. CJ Entus Blaze is currently have positive scores against every single team on their side of the brackets, so if things go as planned, are in a prime position to overtake CJ Entus Frost in the standings. Both MVP Ozone, and SK Telecom T1 #2, facing one another in the semi-finals, will need to reach the finals to separate themselves from the pack, and a first place finish would see them in prime position to take the second birth for the Season 2 World Championships.
So the remification for the upcoming quarter-final matches would be,
CJ Entus Blaze versus SK Telecom T1 #1: CJ Entus Blaze needs an excellent finish if they are to overtake their sister team as the second Korean team to represent the region, whilst SK Telecom T1 #1's Season 3 World Championship dreams would basically end if they get knocked out.
Najin Sword versus CJ Entus Frost: A good finish would basically secure the deal for Najin Sword, and the same goes for CJ Entus Frost. Both teams are in an excellent position to pull themselves ahead of the rest, especially since KT Rolster B had a major hiccup this season. However, only one of them can do so at the cost of the other.

Why does everyone assume that each region will get 2 spots + 1 allstar spot for world finals?
Having a tournament with 11 (5x2+1) teams doesnt really make sense. I think its much more likely that each team will get 3 spots so that there are 16 (5x3+1) teams for worlds. This would also be better for the fans because with 3 qualification spots per region most fan favourites can make it through.

Either or, it'd be nice if they had Monte or Doa send out a tweet.
