Interesting opinion. In which case, where do you think CLG.na will place overall then?

I expect them to lose to the M5/Blaze winner, regardless of which team it is.

Well, their next match is either against AZB, or m5.
I don't really see them beating either of those.
So, they'll place where they're at now at the LB.

By the way, EU lost because only Kog could 1v1 Rengar endgame. If that rumble was Irelia/Olaf/Jax it would have been in the bag. Can't backdoor vs. a team with a jax.

If Wx took Cleanse game wouldn't be so close. Snoopeh made a lot of plays with Flash Ulti and entire team just collapse on Wx.

Also really really don't like Misaya's Ori. Not sure why but it just doesn't have the same impact of someone like say, Toyz.

I totally agree. Because CLG did not have Shurelya, they weren't able to engage a lot of the fights in mid game. The Zhonya build for Krepo was really questionable, too.

I think Shurelias would've been helpful, but Zhonyas was a great pickup. WE lost many engagements since they blew so much stuff on Krepo only to have Krepo dodge a ton of their damage with Zhonyas.

No.

If CLG had two Shurelya that game, they would have won all of their 5v4s. The problem was that CLG's team had basically no gap closers and they couldn't force fights with WE while Caomei splitpushes.

I do agree that Shurelyas would've been good. I think Krepo should've taken Shurelya's instead of Abyssal, especially considering how abyssal aura doesnt' stack iirc and Snoopeh already had one.

I'm just saying that the Zhonyas wasn't a bad item pickup. Rather, Krepo should've gone Zhonyas/Dcap+Shurelyas instead of Abyssal.

It's honestly a playstyle thing imo. Misaya's sooo much better than Toyz on more aggressive AP mids like Diana/TF, whereas Toyz is better with more passive AP champs like Ori/Anivia.

Now I'm almost certain that clg eu lost cause kogmaw didn't reach hypercarry status. First off, he didn't have nunu for speed buff, and then he sold berserkers, and THEN he didn't have zeke from support. He simply didn't have the attack speed to kill rengar.

I don't know if you're sarcastic? Rengar had 350 armor with thornmail and just jumped on Kog'Maw.

Not entirely, having the extra attack speed and life steal would've saved him there.

Also Kog makes MAGIC damage with his W, so you can stick your armor somewhere safe

Ya I agree if Rumble was a better late game carry he would've stopped Rengar splitpushing a little easier but I think they were counting on him for his AOE in teamfights more than anything

I can see the merit in Zhonyas. One problem however was that with Rumble as the top laner, it places the responsibility of getting Shurelya/Zeke/etc. onto Amumu who did not get them afaik.

I find very interesting the way with Asian teams in, we have a really high level pool of players playing similar champs at highly varying degrees. As someone said, Misaya's Ori isn't that convincing. But his Eve and TF are deadly. On the other hand, say, Toyz's Ori is a treat. Same with Diana.

It makes it a lot more interesting to me to see champs played like that, and players be able to play them all, but with such disparities that they still have signature champs, and you can recognize parts of everyone's playstyle not only in their picks, but also in the way they play them. With only NA, and sometimes EU added in, they weren't enough teams to see that consistently. I'm pretty satisfied with the level of play displayed all tourney long.

His AoE let them hold that mid tower for so long. You can't just change out a champion without completely changing the situation.

I hope no one ever finds out . . .

Ah who am I kidding. I'd much rather see Lee mid in solo queue than AP Yi.

The game would have been completely different if Wickd had played someone else so it's kind of a mute point. He had some clutch ults to catch people out that wouldn't have happened otherwise. I think picking Rumble to supplement their lack of AP damage at mid wasn't a bad choice.

Like, IDK. CLG EU had 2 earlygame champs. People saying they "should have won" is very misleading. Rumble's power never gets higher than the 11-16 range, same with lee mid.
