I totally agree. Because CLG did not have Shurelya, they weren't able to engage a lot of the fights in mid game. The Zhonya build for Krepo was really questionable, too.

I think the zhonyas was fine, allowing him to get a second wave of cooldowns is definitely worth it, but that lack of zekes really hurt for sure, when you are placing all bets on kog, giving him more lifesteal and atkspd can never be a bad thing.

That last fight, Krepo just died instantly. That's one of the big things that probably determined the fight, now that I look back on it. Zyra has a lot of really good short cooldown CCs, so that would've helped vs Rengar.

I just think CLG.eu wasn't used to Yellowpete carrying a game this hard.

Fnatic's apparent strength vs. TPA was IMO largely a product of a brilliant draft that took TPA out of their comfort zone. It's hard to place their actual execution as being that amazing.

That said, Fnatic has a lot more to work with preparing for WE than WE has preparing for Fnatic. At least if they know where to look.

No, I think he's trying to tell you that both of these teams are trying to play to their advantages, and IMO WE did better at doing that this game. They played brilliantly towards the end, especially Ciaomei.

It would've been full retard for WE To engage into CLG.eu, durign the time redox made the rengar comment.

WE played it til WX had full 6item, and had inhibitor advantage, and the only way to get to that stage was Caomei's godlike splitpushing skill.

Where did I say that WE didnt play that right? They did just what they had to.

And I still dislike strategies that only rely on backdooring, just like many of the strats CLG.na pulled. And it is just annoying when one team can never end the game even if they win multiple team fights because they just cant leave their base.

And yes, Rengar is a bullshit hero. WE winning with him doesnt change that.

Splitpushing/Backdooring is a perfectly legitimate strat. It's annoying to play against, but it definitely can be beat. Besides, if it wasn't for splitpushing/backdoor then there is literally no way to win against teams with hypercarries or massive aoe comps past a certain point. I can also argue that CLG.eu turtle strat is equally annoying.

CLG.eu definitely could've won that. They were able to keep Caomei at bay for so long with just Wickd defending. They ended up losing that because they botched the last fight with Froggen diving in 1v4 and Yellowpete not getting sufficient peeling which let Ghostblade Rengar wreck him. Up until then it was anyone's game.

But yea...Rengar is kinda bullshit champ.

If CLG had two Shurelya that game, they would have won all of their 5v4s. The problem was that CLG's team had basically no gap closers and they couldn't force fights with WE while Caomei splitpushes.

Rengar zoned off Rumble, Koggles and Amumu for a good 20 sec or so. Lee SIn and Zyra went in hard, but then had nothing following up and died for free. Rengar GA popped, WE follows up, and then the fat lady sung and it was over.
