You really think GA is better than QSS/BV in the position he was in? He was the ONLY one that EU was trying to kill and diving him non-stop. Having a GA does nothing for him except make him get caught earlier. If his GA activates, EU can just camp his body until he respawns and ignore everyone else on NA because they really couldn't do much to them.Being able to get out of multiple CC is the only thing that kept him alive.
The QSS made some sense, but i wasn't really sold on the banshee's. The spell-shield might be nice, but when you have 2 people with hard cc diving onto you, it doesn't really matter that much.
EDIT: Oh and if hotshot actually knew when to use shen ult, he prolly wouldn't have gotten crapped on so hard.

Not to defend him but I'm pretty sure his plan was for his team to engage on EU since it was a 4v3 in mid lane. They either weren't on the same page or Chauster missed his bandage toss or something. By the time Hotshot realized his team wasn't going to or couldn't engage he tried to ult but it was too late.
Still a stupid call but I don't think it was a case of him not knowing what can stop his ult lol.

Not even close to the same thing, aside from both building from negatron cloak, so you shouldn't group them together ;P
GA revives you, which is probably the best effect for their team since they had ori shield and shen shield for once caitlyn revives.

If DL is in the middle of the team fight, he is already dead no matter what. His goal was to stay on the outside and poke him, which QSS + flash + net allows him to do much better.

We don't exactly know what went on in CLG teamspeak during that moment but to assume that Hotshot doesn't know which spells can cancel his ult when any 1500 elo Shen player would know is presumptuous. I wish we could have a feature where we can listen in on the teamspeak during the game. I know MLG used to do it in Halo, and it would probably be a lot more entertaining than what we have now.

The only problem with the reviving is that as soon as doublelift is not in the fight anymore the fight is lost. QSS and BV both served the purpose to absorb one of the hard cc's

But because of EU poke (Ahri Q, EZ Q-W, Maokai Sappling, or even sona Q except its short range and it shouldnt happen), I think BV was pretty poor...
That said : With good reflexes, QSS can be countered by faster CC initiation. Also, DLift already had cleanse. BV actually forces CLG.eu to burst it before initiation. If Dlift somehow dodges everything, this can stall. Also, even if bursted, the CD is pretty low, which can recover while Eu still figuring out the moment to initiate

Leave loco alone uselessShotGg It's already partially started. http://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/12lgqw/locodoco_game_3_you_never_ulted_while_playing/
Good guy Dan Dinh stepped in with his knowledge bomb.
As a support nunu, you never get tanky enough in most cases to run in and get off an effective ultimate. Also Nunu is especially bad versus ezreal/corki, the 2 ad that doesn't completely rely on auto attacking to do damage (also has a escape/jump ability). So to run in to snowball, and or use absolute zero would be suicide (which he ended up doing a couple of time making him look like an ass). Plus, CLG.eu's comp, is not a clump comp, they don't rely on auto attacking at all (malphite). The only possible way for Nunu to land a good A.Z. would be to bait it thru a brush, but there was generally ward coverage the entire time. If you look, at the inventory of CLG.eu at one point, every single player had wards on their 6th slot.
All in all, Locodoco, make some bad plays. But a lot of it was forced bad plays due to limited vision by CLG.na and excellent vision by CLG.eu.

The Problem with Hotshot's Shen is he allows himself to be initiated on every time, especially vs an AP like ahri, that just free cd time if you let her poke you with a Q W before she has to commit. The time when Froggen 1v1'd him bot right after Hotshot finished FoN this is exactly what happened, by the time Hotshot decided to commit to the fight Froggen had already chunked him for half and he was waiting on getting his shit off cd. In that situation you need to be like "silly bitch, I just finished a FoN" and just go in the moment she appears, force her to back down or die.

Yeah, when I noticed the atma's.... I really didn't know what to think. Not sure how anyone can justify that in his build.

The biggest problem was his miss-use of his ult. It creates a huge opening for the enemy, when it goes to waste.

I don't even know if he kept the atma for a long time. To be honest, I bugged when I saw it. This is a strange way of adding damage on Shen.
