Moscow 5 is just so next level it's not even funny any more. Cos usually Nunu gets stunned instantly? If you knock Udyr into Nunu he should just instant cancel it. A support Nunu ulti doesn't even do that much damage anyway. Alex Ich just made some brilliant moves at the end there, maximising his DPS and dodging anything that came his way. It was the Gragas instant flash over the wall that made that baron fight so winning. A bunch of Cooldowns were wasted and EH were out of position. The Nunu Ult was just the icing on the cake.

It was obvious that the plan was to stun nunu during his channel. But jax always got distracted by yorick/gragas instead.

That being said, I can understand that e-Sports, being an entertainment business, wants to bring the best games possible, which is unlikely with players under total stress and exhaustion.

It was the Gragas instant flash over the wall that made that baron fight so winning. A bunch of Cooldowns were wasted and EH were out of position. The Nunu Ult was just the icing on the cake. Nunu Ult'd a fair distance away and then Gragas Ult'd a few of them into it near the end of the channel duration at the Wraith fight. To get to Nunu, EloHell would have had to chew through Gragas+Corki+Shyvana, and they blew a lot of stuff on Yorick in the initial initiate. Sure, it's not something you'd specifically go out and aim to do when you draft a team composition. But the ability for Moscow 5 to spot these things and make split second decisions and act upon them is really impressive.

In bigger tournaments you have around 10 rounds per day, each during 50 minutes. Winning a MTG Championship is like running a marathon against your brain. That really promotes the most prepared and consistent player. That being said, I can understand that e-Sports, being an entertainment business, wants to bring the best games possible, which is unlikely with players under total stress and exhaustion. I remember the BW tournaments, each player had like a month to prepare for a match. It wasn't even a weekend quick.

To be fair though, MtG is purely mental and with no physical component. Being on a big stage with giant spotlights shining at you also plays a factor. There's not much spectator component in it. And there's also no ban/picks like in LoL. Can you imagine having to, say, play Limited but redraft your deck every single game? You'd wear out very quickly. I mean, when you saw Curse in the Finals of IPL:Faceoff they were just completely shattered from having to play nearly 11hrs of LoL non-stop. Same goes for CLG at the finals of IPL4. At some point, you just break down and cannot physically handle it any more.

A month is an exaggeration, but they certainly had lots more time to prepare between matches. Just look at the Azubu Champions Summer League on Ongamenet. Teams have at least one week between each match over there.

Somehow ironic that Shushei gets destroyed by the very champion he originally becamse famous for. As for AP Eve, really nice to see them trying something different. If this actually picks up and becomes FotM, I can say I was running this shit long before Shushei did. (Not that he did well on it, so maybe people will think it's bad? I dunno.) Even though he did lose pretty badly I'm mroe inclined to think it's because of M5 being M5 and less because Eve is a bad pick....
