At any point of IEM Kiev, if you think of an interesting byline, please drop a sentence in the Pro Scene thread. (e.g. "Day 2: M5 hype was everything people expected") At the end of the month, I'll catalogue the results of Kiev but also any interesting facts or events that happen over the course of the tournament. Thanks. Neo, 20.1.2012

Teams try to gain an advantage which lets them kill dragon which snowballs into a bigger lead into a baron kill which is a huge benefit. Jungle ganks and stealing buffs/killing champs with buffs are a big part. Often times a team fucks up and tries to dragon when they can't and get punished etc. Also on basic comp, the bottom lane is the attack damage carry with a support who doesn't take any farm. Mid lane is the ability power carry, top lane is a mixed bruiser type and a jungler farms the neutrals and ganks lanes. You should be able to pick up from commentary/gameplay which is which. And Carry is someone who is meant to do a lot of damage in the long run but needs to be protected super early on i take it? Supports are more self sustaining they don't die as fast and are less reliant on items so need less gold? Junglers are a pretty simple concept they make their money killing neutral monsters and are meant to just pop up and kill someone out of position? I would guess more the carries since if you kill them often enough you can delay their farm and item purchasing (which they rely on??)
