so you have like 4k health, 150/150 resists, and 500 ad. something like that where its actually broken, idk i havent personally seen it but its presumably annoying as fuck and understandably so when an assassin with normal AD stats also has an extra 2k health and 100/100 resists on top compared to usual. assassins in general seem to be pretty good in the preseason too and whenever that is the case zed is a popular ban because he is one of the most played assassins.

You need to get noticed. But the reality is to do that you pretty much need to be one of the best challenger players. Most players who are pros now or in the past were noticed by being a top 10 player on the ladder, often sporting win rates above 80% on their signature champions. For example Dyrus' singed was like an 80% winrate champ. Saintvicuous at one point had a 90% winrate on duolane Karthus. Fake was number one on the Korean ladder for two years. Wildturtle was the highest ranked ADC on the na server for almost a year. Doublelift used to straight up 1v9 games with 9 pros in it as a blitzcrank one trick when he got discovered. That's what it takes. Be a top tier solo queue player, and you'll get noticed. Arcsecond was number one on the na soloqueue ladder for two years before he got an academy tryout. If you can't top the ladder it's not worth worrying about.

How does the vlad vs Nasus matchup work? I think think I’m doing something fundamentally wrong, but my experience is that if I poke him he life steals back up and I’m using my abilities to poke instead of cs. If I use E to push the wave I get camped and ganked a ton. If i passive farm, he gets too many stacks and seems to outscale me. What’s the basic idea of how I should be playing the Vlad into Nasus matchup?

What’s the basic idea of how I should be playing the Vlad into Nasus matchup? poke as much as you can and then proceed depending on how your other lanes play out since you have priority. is the enemy mid diveable? push out your lane and then tell team you're roaming mid to dive. it is very easy to dive with vlad. since you pushed in it, the nasus will have to either sacrifice his farm to try to catch up to you and help or just let his mid get dove. same concept applies to bot with tp. coordinate with your jungler. perhaps if you feel like you're going to get ganked, call up your jungler to follow up since you will win the 2v2 (unless your jg is weak af). these are all several ways to play it out as the vlad assuming the nasus is not bad and does a good job sustaining and staying in lane. if the nasus is bad you should just smash him as the vlad.

Doesn’t need to be always at the top, just usually playable; something positioned like Vladimir but AD. probably gnar unless he gets gutted again but doesnt seem like it some other guys I thought of are camille, kled, maybe darius gnar's my ad top choice for something 'consistently viable' simply because he's a safe laner that can also punish some matchups. tho tbh a lot of top one tricks just get really good at one of or a couple of irelia, riven, gnar, fiora, jayce, jax, camille and they'll still carry in bad metas cause of outplay potential

I know she is supposed to have a rough landing phase Not really, she's surprisingly good when you understand her matchups. She plays differently in quite a few of them. Sometimes you want to go Comet/W max, othertimes you'll be looking at E max to get consistent harass off, especially vs ranged. Maxing Q is technically the most intuitive because it's her big damage dealer that scales really well, but there are many exceptions. Then you have to think about if it's worth going Tiamat or skipping it until you get TF. Tiamat is nice for pushing lane, and small trades, but you're probably going to need an early Phage before/after Sheen in matchups where MS and durability is important. Camille does have some bad matchups, but I'd put most of them down to skill, because she can basically outplay everything. I keep hearing casters mention Camille hardcounters GP, but every Camille I've met playing him has ended up losing the lane or barely breaking even. The next time I got Camille myself I maxed E, jumped on top of him constantly and dumped the lane.

To be fair, I think only most of those losses were my fault rather than all of them, but it’s not a great result. I know she is supposed to have a rough laning phase, but how long do you need to durdel around until you can fight people and kill them? Am I supposed to be passive until I have two full items? Camille has a fairly high skill cap to play right and what you level up depends entirely on match up. See if you can find some Khan games, he show her to play her really well. Many of her match ups you can play very aggresively right from level 1. For the most part level W to 3 is the way to good.

ive been thinking about what changes would be necessary that would allow 1 player to carry a shit team to "balance" the current consensus that 1 player can lose you a game but 1 player can not win you a game. there has to be something that acts as a solution because in dota it is possible to literally 1v5 the game (at least it was last i played back in 2014.)
