That's what I was thinking about: long cast time on W (but at least you can auto once you're there, I've seen Trist try to jump on a Kog to trigger E and burst him down, late game, and die before she landed because frontloaded > backloaded in a squishy fight), on E (the worst one, esp. when people are moving around/running), and R. I tend to mess up Graves' QR because I press both keys in succession instead of waiting for Q to finish to move my cursor and cast R, so I'll let you imagine how much I screw up or fail to stutter-step properly to pop E at max range with these cast times. And then if I'm not autoing something I'm doing nothing at all, which with my poor mechanics just doesn't end well overall, regardless of aa windup.

The big reason i say graves > cait is 2 things
a) buckshot is almost always good, peacemaker on the other hand I can't tell you how many times I've watched my bronze friends play cait, and a jungler or someone on their team catches an opponent, and then i watch cait walk up to e>q combo rather than just orb them down
B) i feel like one of the worst things from uncomfortable ads is more bad uptime then bad positioning. With graves if he gets off q>r and dies he does a lot more damage then the cait shooting one piltover and walking backwards, seen it 100 times

Not sure, almost a year ago he commentated over some LPL vods and it was a one-off.

World needs another Teemo skin.

This is unwatchable, it's laggy as heck and mostly doesn't work.

I'd bet on some april's fools prank instead of another ultimate skin just 1 month after dj sona was released.

Almost certainly an April Fools joke

I'd just like to clarify that frontloaded >backloaded in every fight. This was the big S3 problem where Riot seemed to misunderstand that having "low" "dps" didn't matter if a champion could zero out an enemy then wait on CDs.

The good ol' days of season 3. *sniff*

if we are seriously doing announcements of fake announcements an already dumb holiday is getting out of control

For beginners I'd recommend Graves because he deals tons of front-loaded damage and has a dash. MF because she's a giant lane bully, has an easy to use AOE Ult, and her passive makes it easy to move around the map. Ashe because even if you suck, you have utility to help the team win teamfights, and longer range than most ADCs to help you stay safe.

I don't like learning on Graves, or telling other people to learn with Graves, as buckshot incentives close-range fighting and E-Q-R'ing directly into the middle of a fight makes me feel too powerful to play well and do consistent damage without dying etc.

Not really worth it to me. Plus there is no champion right now I really enjoy and feel is strong but who isn't meta (and therefore boring). The last champion I really was diggin was Elise right after her first round of buffs. Everyone was like wtf is this melee ranged hybrid shit, and I was just crushing every game on her.
then everyone else realized she was OP as fuck and she got cratered. The end.
AP Kog too, but he got nerfed when he wasn't even getting any real play...very lame.
Now I play Jax, feels very strong to me, but just not that complex of a champion so I get bored. if you don't have any characters that you can play for more than 10 games you could just try playing fewer games per day. but otherwise you just have to grit through boredom for the sake of improvement.
if you're getting bored its a huge hint that you're being lazy and not thinking about ways you could do things better blaming teammates for everything is another hint that your brain is being lazy and trying to come up with ways it doesnt have to analyze things
its much easier to play random things and spend your time idly thinking about your new champs abilities and what you can do, its much harder to optimize what you are doing in every situation on a champ you know pretty well
you dont have to tryhard and play to improve it takes a lot of energy just don't kid yourself that you are doing your best while you keep making excuses. Excuses that justify playing in a way that's the easiest and most comfortable for you which is just playing whatever you feel like
there are plenty of people who spam 1 champ and never get better its not the most important thing at all but it does help you gain better information on your performance since it gives you a large memory base to self reference
as for why anyone is recommending learn cait dont learn cait learn ashe don't learn ashe i can't understand that at all there are 2 criteria you need for playing a champion 1: is this champion fun/appealing to me 2: is this champion powerful (since you have a wider range of positive opportunities if the champion is more powerful) taking advice from other people on what champion to play its dumb since it's like recommending someone a colour most people already have a good view on strength roughly from whats being played a lot in lcs and it doesn't matter that much the lower you go anyway
X champion is best to learn because of Y is just random reasoning someone made up on the spot. Unless they person has certified results from multiple people who found that learning a certain champion made them a better player, then their testimony is about as useful as my testimony that everyone should only play Udyr and Garen because playing non gapcloser melee only champions will grant you supreme wisdom and put you well on the path to achieving nirvana.

Pretty sure we're still in League of Mobility so don't think this actually matters. Shit like LB and Zed still ignore this. And they can still just walk out. Veigar still useless zzz.
