I've seen and done 1 champion and 1 role, or 2 champions in 2 roles, but 5 champions in 5 roles is just way too many imo. | ||

I said "One champion for role" for the cases when you don't get the desired role you want, but I think I was really asking about one champion for one role. | ||

Perhaps I'm delusional and remembering things incorrectly. it's not only possible, but highly preferred to stick to as small a pool as possible. it's waaaay easier to improve on a narrow champion pool because it helps you play more consistently and keep track of mistakes better. ideally you should pick your best/most comfortable of the roles available as often as possible. | ||

I have definitely felt comfortable playing Diana mid, Ashe ADC (when I even have to ADC), Janna support. But for top and jungle I kinda swap a bunch. I don't really have any champion so far that I have had a lot of fun with or want to keep playing like I do Diana mid. Who wants to make a compelling argument for one of their freelo champs for top, jungle, or both? If not I think I am just gonna play Diana top jungle and mid. sooooooo, go! | ||

Because of bad matchups and fitting into teamcomps? I dunno, I've always played 10-20 different champions at any given point and jumping on fotms if I can pull it off and I've steadily improved 1 league per season :> | ||

So basically Nautilus atm since I haven't trained Sejuani much and she's going to be permabanned (and people will be more used to playing against her than I am playing her), s2 I spammed Mundo and Maokai and I'd use Mundo again if someone somehow makes him work without cheesy setups. Maokai's W range nerf is harsh though and you can't build Glory+FH early to sustain your mana usage either. Vi and Olaf have the advantage of being strong early so it's not as much being tanky as "if you try to go on me and you get caught by my full opener you'll be dead before I drop to half so it doesn't matter". | ||

I got to Platinum maining Malz mid/jungle/top, Thresh support, and Ezreal adc. Very very rarely played adc or top though. | ||

Of course it's possible In fact I just played against a guy just like that: http://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=Best Blue Cards Obviously I beat him because I'm so good (lol jk) but the fact is he has a really good win rate and KDA per game so he's probably going to hit Masters if he just keeps playing. Maining one champion or one role is probably one of the best way to climb if your main intention is to climb. The real reason why not many people are capable of doing it is because they lack patience or commitment. | ||
