Would be interesting to see where Dexter could slot in. Brokenshard always loved Dexter and given the fact Dig already apparently has a jungler, I really wouldn't be surprised if it was him.
Personally, I'm not too hot on Dexter. Thought he was pretty mediocre last split and even toward the end of his time on CLG. Think he might be serviceable but that's about it - very much so like Helios in that regard.

But then again, it depends on what dexter has to work with. Considering that Gamsu and Core are gone now and Brokenshard wants full English-speaking roster, you'd imagine that those won't be hot imports.

I wonder how bad it has to be in Elements that they can't even keep Dexter

Aphro talking about drama.
He just said 'apparently we aren't friends' about DL and 'DL brings everyone on the team down.'

I mean, Froggen apparently left, and considering that they threw offer to Freeze, easy to assume that Tabzz isn't there anymore as well.
Do you really want to stay in team with Jwaow and Nyph who coached for half a year.

So Link "Donezo" "Austin" Shin isn't the villain of this story after all?

Aphro didn't really dispel much of what DL said. He said he was told a couple days before and assumed DL knew, but he was away so he can't know for certain. He also said he knows DL was told at night so the 2 am text part seems to be right.

Well this says almost nothing. He becomes a free agent because his contract expires as is publically known and declaring NA residency just makes sense because it gives more options for he future.
Btw I dont think many teams want him.

What I don't understand is why would any EU team use an import slot on a player in EU who declares NA as his home region? Doesn't it make sense in almost every circumstance to just find a different European and use the import slot on an LCK/LPL player if they really want to?

Most EU teams dont use their import slots up so in most cases it will not make a difference. I think only Fnatic so far uses 2. Maybe there will be more imports in the future but in any case it will not become as packed as NA so an NA residency will generally be more valuable than an EU one.

Right, and now if Immortals/Kings/Team Froggen want a jungler who has LCS experience they'll have another option that doesn't impact their import slots. No reason for him not to have done it, especially if the supposed salaries are as high as they are rumored to be.

The going thought is that since imports are rare in EU they will continue to be and so EU players are protected from such a problem and can go wander off to NA for a couple years and come right back to EU and suffer no consequences for their actions.
Obviously though, if you're paying attention you'd notice that imports are increasing in frequency in EU just like they did in NA and there should be legitimate concern about the future for EU players that declare as NA. Then again this is the western LoL scene and it's not like anyone has thought farther than the next worlds into the future before, so why should they start now?

I'd be happy with Hauntzer. I don't think Gravity's team structure really helped highlight his abilities and think he'll be one of the better tops in NA while not demanding a lot of resources. The only "concern" I have is that we didn't get to see him in the carry top meta at all really just to see how he adapted and what champs he picked up.

Are imports really increasing that much in EU? There were 3 I believe last season (H2K, FNC) and Dart who never really was a part of Roccat despite being their sub. I'd say they are perfectly safe taking NA residency.

Very happy for Hauntzer. Well-deserved and he's perfect in properly working with Bjergsen/Doublelift duo carry threat.
In theory this team has everything to be competitive internationally with Adrian/Korean jungle import. Inb4 DanDy/Mata, everything goes down in flames by Week 5~ of LCS Spring.
Yea, I don't think dexter proclaiming himself as NA changes anything. He just becomes a valuable bandaid option for NA teams in case they want to import more and more and EU is fine without going over line anyway.

Never say never for Meteos. Even if its not Meteos, there's good chance for c9 Rush. C9 members and Rush were quite close during KR bootcamp.
and uh its a tough decision between Hauntzer and Zion. Zion is definitely more experienced and established player, on other hand, Hauntzer had a good season in LCS, and seems to have huge potential.

Well yea from the player side of things it makes a lot of sense, but from a team looking to grab someone it doesn't. Although if they're not using the import slots than its a moot point.

He said on stream last night that the competitive meta may have just left him behind. He disliked that junglers were forced to buy sightstones and the playstyle they were forced into. I would be bummed if he didn't give it a go at all to try and get into NACS but it wouldn't surprise me either. Regardless he is definitely not who you'd want to be building a team around right now with that kind of mindset.
