EDIT: random suggestion, but would it be worth making an "off season" thread maybe? It's way too early to call anything. Immortals/Coast are rumoured to have sick lineups, plus we still have no idea about meta, etc, etc. still possible TSM turns into NA Elements or something for Coast to have a sick lineup (for NA at least) all they'd need to do really is replace pekin/mash, and they have one import slot open. Well, the rumor is GBM and I expect ex-Coast to be the ones that get him over Immortals.

Every single player is leaving the team and because the team has announced its intention to sell, they're not even trying to acquire players. Prospective owners can see this and know that the caliber of players they could get at this point are likely to get relegated so they're not going to sink a million dollars into a team that will lose the majority of its value after a few months in LCS. I really think the Riot rule being discussed about compelling teams to sell their spot is because of this clown fiesta. Watch Mancloud somehow end up on this team though to continue his LCS streak. I think that it's a case of the public has generally already accepted that Impulse is borked and/or don't really care that much, since it's not one of the big teams. And we haven't heard anything since the announcement of going on sale. The only real hope is for someone wealthy to buy the team and treat it as a clean slate, like what Immortals are doing. Basically the main difference between Impulse and Immortals right now is that we know that the Immortals have wealthy backers and are reportedly offering relatively hefty salaries. Issue with this is that it's just too late for a buyer to come in and salvage the off-season or I'd agree with you. By the time a new owner is established all the talent will be gone.

I'm getting a vibe from TSM that anyone who plays for them at iem that isn't Doublelift or Bjerg is a standin
So I'm not taking the Adrian/hauntzer stuff to serious. Not that they aren't decent players.

So I'm not taking the Adrian/hauntzer stuff to serious. Not that they aren't decent players. The whole "Will TSM have a roster in time" thing comes from the tournament being later this month while a lot of contracts expire on the 16th. So if Regi has his eyes on a player that hasn't expire yet he'll have to wait to try them out. He has the clout to make tryouts wait.

I dont buy the Hauntzer stuff neither. That guy got carried hard by Move the few weeks he was looking decent. Regi has something bigger in mind imo. Sb like Smeb should be the aim for the biggest western team. Good english, not on a big team and coming in with the hype of a world finalist.
For EU I really hope Forgiven stays in EULCS. I'm ok with Freeze leaving, but Forgiven prob has the most raw talent of any western player. He cant play for a team like Renegades.

TSM cannot highball a player like Smeb, Chinese money is too strong. Before people start saying hw TL got Piglet there's a big difference. Piglet was not on top of his game at the time that they gave him an offer, but a guy like Smeb is in hot form and comes straight out of a world final, he is like the prime target for all the Chinese orgs and top Korean orgs. even with the newfound MVP money I doubt he will stay on the team tho.

Former World Elite coach and current LPL caster Joker has called out Spirit for skipping scrims to hang out with fangirls
Basically; World Elite is as terrible an org as ever ~_~

well in that post he also said he has no evidence for two of those sins.
joker a complete joke

Even if Spirit is actually guilty of these three "sins" he's still the best player in his team by far and probably has what it takes to be a top jungler for any team, so he really couldn't care less because his value is insane, both for his team and on the player market.

Yeah no, what Joker's saying is fucking bs. Spirit, one of the best recent Korean junglers period, who cried over losing to SSW. Then he had to carry those trash for an entire season, lmao. If he really spent scrims time with fangirls he wouldn't have been so godly in Spring (though his will to live did eventually break in Summer). Spirit's just one of the most driven players I've seen, other than Flame.

Spirit seems like a good dude, when WE lost to TSM at Katowice he was super chill about it

World Elite has announced their NESO roster; both Koreans are absent. In their place WuShuang (Highly touted soloQ jungler) and Sukim (Former mid laner for WE; now playing ADC) will be participating in the tournament.

Wait what, lmao. Hauntzer was only one with Altec who actually looked competent throughout whole year and not for 2-3 weeks.

lol joker just said spirit was streaming like 200 hours a month and that must mean he's dodging scrims cause most pure streamers get up to 120 a month only.
He's got no evidence that spirit dodged team activities to hang out with fan girls, calls out spirit for not performing as well in summer as he did in spring. The guy's just made of salt right now.
holy shit that reddit thread is fucking amazing
that weibo thread is even more amazing
