I only recommend if you have a long drive (I did). Basically they are confusing disguising what is optimal for the players (basically a more opaque system) with giving players more options. They discussed the possibility of reducing vision (while, of course, making Dragon lategame relevant, which means you need to control more vision than ever before). In the jungle they have the same stated goal as the last 2 seasons (the end result of both was the opposite of diversity). One of the interviewers straight up asked them if nerfed mana regen and regen items meant they would need to hit resourceless champs (Zed and Rumble specifically mentioned) they said that is premature and actually didnt make sense, because reasons. And on pick/ban they said their biggest worry with the pick/ban is that players can't play niche champions, but also said that DOTA style pick/ban meant you could shut down whole strategies with 1 ban (fundamental misunderstanding of another game, understandable) then said that the problem in LOL is that you can't form a sharp teamcomp, but that DOTA-Style would take them even further from that (fundamental misunderstanding of your own game). | ||

This has happened to me as well recently. The other people in the game were also aware of it, so it's not an individual bug. Probably some loose code, just like with most patches. | ||

If you see a lineup like Jayce, Trundle, Nidalee, Lucian Janna team your brain immediately goes "That's a poke comp." But if you have, like, Leona and Malphite in that team instead of Nidalee and Janna, the teamp comp is like "What is the point of this?" | ||

I think we all need to stop listening to and reading what Riot says. It's really disheartening sometimes (like 90% of the time) and rarely conveys anything agreeable. | ||
