Meh, it's been impossible to solo carry since end of season 1. Now it's a matter of hinging your bets, and hoping you have another competent teammate along with you, so you guys can at least 2v5. | ||

They be like "haha I have more farm than you." And you just laugh cuz give knocked down four turrets, done drag twice and have complete map control. Then you have Yi in post game chat complains his team ducked even though he had zero impact on the game. | ||

Every role has applicable skills to every other role. It's much easier to make your four teammates more successful than their whole team than to make yourself more successful than their whole team. If only more people could recognize this; I lane worse than most people at my elo but play mid-late game way better, so I try to make picks and decisions that will get me to that mid-late game without being far behind. The annoying part is when people can't recognize their own weaknesses and go ahead and make those bad calls that don't allow them to do what they are good at later on. | ||
