I never ever mute people, because if someone is being toxic, i need to know what that person is saying, in order to help convince whoever he's flaming to keep playing and ignore him, before he also becomes toxic. I agree with with that person who says he opts to mind his feelings whenever someone is calling out shit. Because generally they call out shit without even knowing why the fuck they're doing it, they just flame because of hunger/anger/depression/retardation etc. etc. 1 is good 2 is bad, and i always aim to be the most toxic person on my team.

Looks pretty awesome. A slow, knockup, hilarious escape tool and turning enemy towers into friendly towers?

This is also what made fgc so fun to watch was the amount of shit talking, flaming, and general unpleasantness. Hell, that's what makes the internet funny as hell. The continual policing of behaviour in games have led to less fun. That being said, it's understandable why Riot has taken this stance, especially since it's trying so hard to bring LoL to the public. Shit talking across teams is fun. Because they're the enemy and its fun to both hate them and be hated. You either get to play the hero if they're shit talking or play the villain if you are. Both of these things are fun and can help create a swift team dynamic(E.G. why are drill instructors asses to everyone? A: Because the group forms faster with a shared enemy/goal). But this isn't true of shit talking to your team. They're supposed to be your team, your team is like your tribe, it doesn't matter if they fuck up they're still your god damned tribe so they're obviously better than those other fuckers on blue side. That is until they don't have that same attitude. Then things change. Anecdata time: 1) I used to play EVE and was in Goonswarm. A large part of the Goonswarm identity was that you sucked. Everyone sucked. Sucking was what it meant to be a goon, the largest bunch of sucks to ever suck. Except of course whomever we were fighting they sucked harder. There was a constant derision but it was very much part of the tribal identity. And being in a tribe, having clear goals and enemies was fun. Being a goon meant you were playing the villain, and so we were a group of villains. And everyone knew that and knew how terrible and mean they were and that was great because you got to be terrible and mean together, in one big vicious family. But you can't develop a dynamic like that out of thin air. Part if it is pruning; it doesn't work when some people aren't in on the tribal identity, those people must be removed from the tribe. Part of it is changing or establishing the identity and getting people to go along with it, people typically respond to negativeness with "othering" the person who was negative and that has to be reversed. 2) So back in college one of my elective classes was a group psychology course. And for a project we decided to see how fast we could create a positive and negative team dynamics. We split the class(who was not in on the project) into two groups and played kickball. One team captain was an ass to his team and one team captain wasn't. Its not a surprise that the team whose captain was an ass lost the game. Despite having what would otherwise be the physical advantage (picking first). Basically its possible to quickly establish or destroy team cohesiveness and team cohesiveness plays a large part in how you function in a group. The continual policing of behavior in games has led to more fun. A lot more fun. Because it fucking sucks when you're stuck with a dude on your team who isn't part of your tribe. If league were a game where you could kick him out of your tribe, a game like Planetside or EVE then no big deal, your tribe remains your tribe and they can go find another tribe to be a part of that fits their needs. But League isn't like that. You're stuck with them until you're forced to make a new tribe 40 minutes later. This means that the identity of a team in a league game has to form very quickly. There is no time to flip what seem like mean spirited comments into positive ones. There are no alternative tribes to choose from. You're either stuck or you leave and ruin the game for 8 other people. I mean really it comes down to this; Teams which don't have team cohesiveness lose more than those that do. And players on teams without cohesiveness have less fun than those which do. The easiest way to form cohesiveness fast in a group you can't change is with positiveness and the easiest way to break it is with negativeness. And if you think that being a dick doesn't effect the game or your team mates then you're a bad person and should feel bad and frankly I don't want to play games with you. You're not in my tribe, get the fuck out. Fake edit: if i've made any mistakes the psychologist can correct me. Take his word for it not mine.

Only case that is not true is when you build TF as 2nd item, but in that case you can just go TF first and it's probably better. What. IE's passive by itself increases your auto-attack dps by 37.5%, and they both provide the same amount of AD. Even if Graves deals relatively less of his damage through autoattacks, IE still crushes BT super hard.

BT gives you tankiness through lifesteal and shield, IE gives you dem damages.

In my opinion, there are two ways to be good/high-ranked at this game. One is to legitimately be super good mechanically. The other is to understand the psychology of players. I'm the second kind.

And, as was said, that is overwhelmingly skewed toward positivity. There may exist a team that defines itself as a negative entity and feeds off trash talk and criticism but they are all in agreement with this concept and it has developed over time. Unfortunately, you are afforded only text communication in a limited time frame to establish a team atmosphere, so this simply isn't viable or acceptable for a match made team. I honestly think that a smaller amount of individuals are ragers/afkers/trolls/feeders than we think. I have many good games in solo queue where I'm like, YEAH, you guys are awesome! and we all have a great mentality towards the game, even when we're losing. I just remember the ones that make me mad because they have more emotional valence and are more readily encoded into my long-term memory stores. I would say that the majority of people playing this game just want to play nicely and have a good time. That majority might only be 60%, but it's more than half...
