I'm surprised no one does ad nid anymore. She can hyperscale execute really nicely with the 300% scaling boost to her q in couger form

She's not great in full on 5v5 teamfights, but she splitpushes like a boss. Completely called this coming when people were screaming for AP nid nerfs and AD nid buffs. Last time AD nid was popular, she was a complete bitch to play against, as well.

Honestly I just think that her ranged form needs mana costs to go up, because right now she basically can't OOM, so she just spams spears until she hits one, and then you instantly lose lane because of the 3 skill combo into an execute. If spears started at 80 mana apiece I think it'd be fine. Scaling on heal could also stand to go down, considering best case soraka heal is the same as nid heal. Doesn't make a huge difference, but on gauntlet or triforce builds, it's extraneous power.

Would be nice to not get completely wrecked for the cost of just 50+10/lvl per spear. The cost should be low, maybe like 30/15/20, with pounce getting a refund if it hits something. No real reason for cougar to be free now that she gets it at level 1.

I ended up leaving it, despite being people I was generally on friendly terms with outside of game, because despite doing my best to accomodate people (jungled since noone else did it nor wanted to, never got to play Morgana ever despite being my fav champion at the time because one of us literally only played her, tried answering questions and giving advice when they were lost or encountered a new champ), the Morgana player was bad, even for my badness badder than now at the time, but he got angry because he failed and lashed out at me whenever I offered to help (I remember being cursed at when he died to pre-6 Kass, complained he couldn't cast or Flash and I said Black Shield would prevent the silence). Could have dealt with it but the rest of the group stood behind him because he was new and I, as the oldest, had to be patient and accepting and not lecture him. When I was only offering, not criticising. And getting insulted in return. :| Most of them either didn't improve or stopped playing (the so friendly guy is Silver V playing mainly support now it appears), and those who kept playing (more than on-and-off coops and ARAMs I mean) are still really negative in game and close to criticism so... not dipping into that again. If the guy is defensive because of how his friends are with him I guess before even talking about his play, you'd have to talk with him about how he feels about the game and the situation. If it's not fun for him to get yelled at like that, what does he enjoy in the game/why does he keep playing it? Also why does he keep playing bot (I assume it's to not be alone in lane if his goal is to play with friends, since low level people don't roam much they can feel isolated "guys it's like I'm having a skype chat with you while playing single-player"), is it related to which champs he likes, what kind of stuff he likes to do (Vayne not exactly like Ryze, etc.)? Maybe there's a champ more intuitively suited to him. To my knowledge and experiences of playing with him, his champion pool is as follows: Tristana, Thresh, Soraka, Master Yi. I'll try and talk with him about runes/masteries next time I play with him, see if I can't get him to at least make some general 21/9 pages.

I've got an acquaintance who's picking it up again to play with friends, and they've all tried to teach him before how to play (moving around, runes/masteries, summoner spells to use, item build paths, etc.) and no matter what they do, he is dead set in his ways (not moving, wrong runes/masteries, poor/bad summoner spells, bad item choices, etc.). Right now I'm just focusing on having him move around a lot and learning to use Flash defensively only (he can use whichever 2nd summoner he wants), but until the friends play with him in lane (he is either ADC or support) I won't know if anything I say sticks. They've all tried to teach him these things as well, but I don't know what they've done/said to him to make him think that these things don't work with him. You need to somehow convince him that your advice is worth taking. 1. Establish that you are much, much better than him. Each time he plays (insert role) and does bad, the next game you play (insert roll) and go legendary, thereby establishing your gaming superiority. 2. Explain to him he is bad and should feel bad. Also tell him that making carriers is a good skill to have. 3. Tell him how to get better.

Also at the beginning of the season relic shield was insanely strong, and if I remember correctly his W actually got nerfed because the passive armor was so high.

at the beginning of s4 targons basically put you on the level with solo laners, so he was good targons got nerfed because it was retarded, Taric went back to where he was after his s3 nerfs

Like force him to play by tying him to a chair and every time he doesn't notice a gank coming, punch him in the stomache. Don't feed him until he does his combo correctly in a teamfight and uses all his items. 5. Lob verbal abuse at him. Get your other friends to all do the same. Not only will this cause him to want to play with you guys more to prove himself, it'll make him an outsider so that he feels he needs to improve. If possible get his parents, coworkers, and friends outside of LoL to join in on the beratement to drive the point home that he's worthless until he can achieve 90 cs at 10 minutes.

There is seriously nothing you can do to help someone who doesn't want to improve. I have multiple rl friends that will always be bronze, no matter what, and some that are bronze now but worth my time to help improve. In-game decisions and mechanics can be improved, but if they aren't willing to at least maximize their chances with optimal runes, masteries, and items, then they just don't care that much about winning or improving. Just let him do whatever is fun for him, and use those games to practice new stuff. If he gets mad that he's sucking you might throw in a harmless "we can help if you'll listen" but I wouldn't invest much time into it if he is stubborn. I mean, if he thinks he knows best even though he is feeding, what does that say about his personality?
