I don't know if that is because he doesn't do that, out because diving and engaging is so neutered that peel is an afterthought. ? Maokai's peeling is fantastic. He has a really high uptime ~50% slow if you chain his Q and E well. Mao's W is also pretty high uptime nuke/root with max cdr, which a lot of Maokais tend to get. Plus, his new ult rewards peeling and staying close to your team as opposed to old Maokai who just wanted to dive and disrupt the enemy backline.

Is he really that OP ? Amumu has been at the top of the win rate charts for like 4 years. Secret OP?? Solo Q is a hell of a lot different.

One of the best parts about mummy is like no matter if you're doing bad as long as you can get a decent (3+) ult in a fight you can almost always turn the tide its really just that strong of a skill tbh.

Flash + ulting with amumu and getting 3+ is one of the most satisfying things in solo queue

Not the most ideal, but one I need to settle with. My Tactician is only level 6 as Dark Flier, very far from Galeforce. So now I need to: + Show Spoiler + Get my Tactician to level 15 somehow so Morgan gets Galeforce. I suspect Morgan will be my strongest magical unit. Decide if I want Donnell + Nowi or Olivia. I finally got Donnell to 15 as Villagrr and reclassed him.

If they're playing team builder it's likely because they're with a bunch of noobs who wanna play team builder. Basically my only gripe with the system is that it's not more popular =/. Also, Rengar isn't good, in my opinion. The nerfs hit him way too hard and there's really no reason to play him over other strong junglers aside from "I like this champion!" Which, don't get me wrong, is cool, but I don't consider him top-tier in solo queue or arranged play. Wukong is still so under the radar... 77.8% win rate in OGN, picked or banned in every single game except for one in the quarterfinals (which was a blind pick game in which both sides picked Lee), picked or banned in every single game in the semi-finals.

I understand that he's popular and that his winrate in competitive play is high. I just don't think he's top tier, even if a lot of the Koreans do. Also, what patch were they playing on? I'm talking about his current state on NA server. I think KR is behind and yes, Rengar was really strong before his nerfs and a lot of the other patch changes. I just no longer consider him top tier as a jungler, and that's my personal opinion. Like, I think he's a lot more contested as a pick because of Orianna and Lulu both being popular. If he doesn't have either Orianna or Lulu on his team he's a lot harder to make plays with. His winrate and pick/ban rate could be because it's easier to ban Rengar than to ban both Lulu and Ori (taking out the combo from the strategy) and when he did get through with Lulu or Orianna on his team he looked a lot stronger than he would have without them. It's not just "Rengar is strong" in a vacuum. He has a lot of synergy with certain champions (Thresh, Ori, Lulu come to mind) but outside of certain comps he's a lot less strong than many people would believe, in my opinion.

He was nerfed 4 patches ago. In fact he's even stronger in the current patch since Eve, Lee and Elise were all nerfed. In a blind pick game 5 between Najin Black Sword and SKTS, SKTS picked Rengar with neither Orianna nor Lulu. Overall in the quarter finals, Orianna was taken less than half the time she was available and they had Rengar. Rengar and Lulu were only together for 2 out of 7 games. In the semi-finals, Rengar was picked 4 times, with Orianna being picked with him 0 times and Lulu once.

I don't think solo queue Rengar is scary. Diamond and pro scene are way too different. My opinion mainly stems from solo queue as a jungle/adc main. I just think he's not as strong as people are making him out to be based on the pro scene. Also like I watched a lot of those games that Rengar was picked in during OGN semis/finals and they were terrible Rengar games that got carried by bot or mid lanes, if I recall correctly...

He also is sexy with Zilean. However, I think Rengar is a very good mind game champion, which may or may not translate. Mostly he saps the enemy strength without doing anything through "wasted" wards and lost cs. In ogn there are two reasons it works really well compared to lcs : 1. They actually understand how to control waves, which prevents teams from punishing the Rengar (good Korean teams force you to shut down Rengar or the top lane); 2. Dragon is never really an objective that is just "up". This means post 6 Rengar usually is free to ult gank any lane without a counter dragon
