Another old man memory, I once was a lv6 xin vs. a lv10 xj9 hecarim simply cuz I failed two ganks and xj9 took everything I had then sat mid to leech exp. Game was over in 10min and I didn't even die. Yeah, I remember those days. If you played your cards right you could hit 6 before most laners too. Big wraith, big Wolf and the double Golems used to be worth big experience and like never respawn. If your team sucked and didn't help you kill a camp before your buff it used to set you behind a ton too. I miss being able to hit 6 before a solo Laner on Warwick and really fuck shit up. That was long time ago though. Back when people were afraid of the jungle, because if you didn't do it right you were fucked. I remember playing like Platinum level games with no junglers, ashe mid against AD TF. Lol. Meanwhile you'd have like AP support bot and then a double bruiser top lane.
I remember those days. Also, Smite was for noobs because it only did damage to monsters and was useless against champions.

Did they never "fix" Steel Legion Lux? Those animations are so...ethereal? IDK, quite hard to play against, particularly because she is not that popular so I dont really have a feel for her hitboxes.

I don't recall anyone ever saying smite was bad. I recall it being a staple to have someone have it. Even back in the day, otherwise you brevet got Dragon. Essentially a free loss cuz their double bruiser Lane would walk up and smite it.
I could be wrong though.
I also remember everyone rushing chalice on every champion. When Panth was considered op the first time everyone got chalice first item. If I knew what I know now then I'd have been the best player in the world easily. Their irelia would rush chalice and I'd get two Dblades and kill that bitch 20 times every match... totally ignoring how mitch better at lay hitting I'd be too.

not to be a douche but isn't this really off topic now?

the Vampirism mastery, the one in the utility tree which gives +1% life steal & spell vamp with up to 3 points on it, which champ and in what scenario can use it? I just dont get it, it takes at least 8 points on utility to go for it and champs that go 21 on utility usually are not fighters that will need spell vamp & life steal.
well it can be run on almost any champion that weaves AA with spells, you could easily use it on someone like lucian/kog to whatever amount of affect
ryze is a champ that does really well with a few points in it for obvious reasons, the 9/0/21 cass is a good candidate as well
I do think it should be swapped lower though but I don't know what it'd swap with....the summoner spells one is sooooo strong to get maxed for 9 points, swapping mana and increasing its strength would be cool i think

When that skin first came out Lux was really popular, so it was bullshit. Half the time I couldn't tell the difference between her autos and Q's. I think they made some small adjustments to it shortly after though.

I think it ended up being that it didn't decide anything (they were behind by like 6k before the bug happened) but Riot decided to just disable him so it doesn't happen again.
The main issue with the bug is that they can't replicate it, so they don't know how to fix it without just buffing Shen to say the only way his ult won't channel fully is if he moves during it (or prevent him from moving during the channel), the target dies, or Shen is stunned/dead/transformed.
It happened in OGN as well, on a fairly pivotal ult that may well have changed the game's outcome. This was pretty close to the disable. I think it was one of the KT teams, but largely because they're the teams that were playing Shen, not because I specifically remember the match.

I'm just asking because next time I'm jungling I'd like to try and ward Evelyn's camps for the benefit of my team. So if she does catch me while placing wards (Which I'd have to be careful about anyways) I was wondering if I could mono y mono her if she decides to be cheeky and I'm playing some sort of bruiser jungle.
In general, if you're going from your first buff straight to their second buff and you can get the jump on them while they're doing it, you'll have the advantage since they'll have used cooldowns and taken damage from the jungle. In a straight up fight out in the open at like level 3, the only way Eve has a chance against Lee or J4 is if she dodges their Q.
This new match history is actually pretty cool and useful. It's interesting to see the amount of different kinds of damage I'm doing as Eve. In a 39 minute game with elder lizard, hexdrinker, zhonya's and rylais, I only did 2.3k more magic damage than physical.

Shen was disabled in reaction to CLG vs Curse in spring split. Nien was on shen I believe twice CLG went for an initiation with shen ult and both times nien accidentally cancelled it. Afterwards he got disabled even though it happened plenty before (I remember at worlds sycho sid cancelled loads of shen ults)

The weird thing about shen ult is canceling it was considered a "skill" at some point. I wonder if they could fix it by giving him a short amount of "air time" like Pantheon, but shorter obviously.

Is it really a bug if you just screw up using Shen ult? Dont press taunt till you land.
I dunno, thats kind of like claiming your client bugged out because you left clickm instead of A-click and died because you were just running beside your opponent.

You must be fucking kidding? you're not supposed to be able to cancel shen taunt manually...

some of you guys are under the impression that you can cancel Shen's teleport at will, which is just not true.
go into a custom game and try to consistently cancel shen's teleport. I'll be surprised if you can even do it 50% of the time.

Fair enough.
I was misinformed.

someone tell me how to play lulu top against jayce =S i have no clue what's supposed to happen
EDIT:: nvm swapped with my mid =S
tho in general how does lulu vs ranged top go?

Farm, if it's ryze try to push him in because most suck at csing under tower. Typically you will have better gank assist and escape, the rest is mu specific.

go into a custom game and try to consistently cancel shen's teleport. I'll be surprised if you can even do it 50% of the time. I tested it yesterday. Cancelled once out of like 10-15 tries, and it's effectively a low chance to fizzle. But every time a failure happens, it can and has cost people games.

tho in general how does lulu vs ranged top go? Jayce in particular wants to swap from melee to ranged form so if you get out of melee range he can still hit you with autos. If he starts in ranged I think you can use one of your many cc to make distance and get free autos while kiting. So if he swaps to melee, he is vulnerable for 3 ish seconds because his transform is on a 6 s cooldown and he wants to transform out of melee range once you've gotten out of his melee range. He probably won't stay too close to you during those 6 seconds though.
So if he does go melee you can also back off out of his range and poke him with a glitterlance. I think it's a bad lane for lulu as Jayce is pretty bursty and can duel Lulu well but I've only played the matchup once.
Stand behind creeps to avoid free Qs from him. I think if he stays in ranged your Q and autos can at least outtrade his autos.
If it's a close duel flash can dodge both his Qs and waste his melee W.
