How would that be buffing him? That's more or less already what they're doing, according to the guy in charge of the bug who talked about it. (He also said that he's not full time on it and only gives it what time he can get off his current projects.)

This bug has also been around for over 2 years and Shen was never disabled during season 3. Riot should jsut let LCS teams pick Shen if they want with the caveat that if it bugs, tough luck. I mean, that's basically their stance on Lissandra. It's more from a PR standpoint. They don't want to risk putting a public display of a known bug in a competitive setting which is broadcast and reproduced. That happening at all would be bad for image and advertising. Better from their standpoint to openly admit they have a bug and to say they're working on it than to deal with the PR nightmare of Shen bug altering the outcome of a match. I'm just waiting for the next time Vi gets flayed out of her ult to actually be gamechanging and not just for the 5th kill in a clean-up while casters talk about the dead inhibitor. Maybe then they'll fucking acknowledge it finally? >_>

Not sure why they can't replicate it. From my personal experience, it gets cancelled
1. Trying to taunt the instant the channel finishes, taunt a bit early, cancelled. 2. Trying to move to a location the instant channel finishes by spam clicking, cancelled.
Might be some other scenarios, but those are the ones where I think it cancels.
This is one scenario where I really wish LoL had a sandbox mode, or even urf as a custom, just to test shit like this.
After a bit of testing, I can't consistently cancel it. Can get it to happen every so often, but nothing for sure.
Might have to do with the target using a mobility skill?

I wouldn't be surprised if it has something to do with movespeed or displacement, riots struggled with displacement and channeling based bugs for a long time. even if some of the bugs they got rid of could have actually helped the game.

What's the best way to get vision of Evelyn before she ganks her lane? (I'm usually playing top lane if that's relevant) Is it to ward her camps? And if that is the correct answer, when is usually a good time to place deep wards in their jungle? I know for that question there are many variables that I would need to consider but I was hoping you guys could give me some guidelines.
So far my strategy has been to kill Evelyn when she shows up in my lane, but I'd like a little bit more of a, er, reliable solution haha.

Ideally your jungler will be warding her jungle as he counterjungles her. As a laner, figure out where she starts by looking at your enemy laners. (Which is incidentally why as a jungler I've started just going leashless.) You can use that to build a mental model of where Eve is likely to be: Blue -> (some combination of wraiths, wolves, or neither) -> Red -> 3:10, gank top/mid or go to golems, depending on lane push status, etc.

In soloQ I find its a pain and almost impossible. you will probably not get the team effort to keep her jungle warded now do you notice where she is all the time from that. If i can I just bad her and otherwise play careful if you dont know where she is.

In my experience top lane is usually the hardest. Usually mid lane should ward wraiths after first back which gives a strong indicator of her presence if you pay attention. Eve usually doesn't do golems on the way top so you either have to dominate the lane hard enough that you can protect a pink or play safe when she has not shown in any lanes recently. Most people in lower elo don't take note when the jungler appears unless it is in their lane, this is a mistake.

So I guess my next question is how strong of a duelist is Evelyn? Assuming no advantages, can she duel people like Jarvan IV and Lee Sin?
I'm just asking because next time I'm jungling I'd like to try and ward Evelyn's camps for the benefit of my team. So if she does catch me while placing wards (Which I'd have to be careful about anyways) I was wondering if I could mono y mono her if she decides to be cheeky and I'm playing some sort of bruiser jungle.

She's not abysmal at dueling in the jungle, but would get stomped by J4 or Lee Sin 1v1 on equal footing. Most junglers would.

Rule of thumb is she'll probably outdps you with Hate Spikes if you don't get her to run away with your initial burst (and she will chase you down with her W passive if you're the one to turn tail unless you've got mobility spells).
With Hecarim I just gtfo early because W doesn't bring enough sustain yet (and no resistances to reduce her damage either) while Q's ~8s ramp-up is way too slow, with Vi if I can get a jump and fully charged Q->auto-E on her, unless her laner's ready to react she'll turn tail but assuming equal level she'd actually win a fight to the death because my dps is so low compared to hers and Q has a long cd early.

Alright I apologize as I've been asking a lot of questions, but please bear with me.
My jungler of choice of Jarvan IV, and I'm always tempted to invade their jungle. However, I never end up invading as I don't think it's usually a good idea (Mostly because it's dangerous to do so, especially in SoloQ) and I was wondering if you guys could point me in the direction of where I can find a guide to invading or something. Because I have very little knowledge of how to invade. Although I'm guessing it has to do with having good vision in their jungle and knowing where their laners are.
Or is invading over-rated and not worth the time?

Or is invading over-rated and not worth the time? Invading's dangerous because it's 50/50 whether or not your team reacts in comparison to their team. Most of the times when you invade, if you catch them off guard you do have the upper hand. It's really just a matter of whether or not you can make it out alive afterwards because if 2-3 collapse on you there's a high probability you're giving up first blood.
Give your laners a heads up if you plan on doing it so they can shove a bit and come help you.

in solo queue you just go smite/ignite eve (you'll be building full tank and have W for running away if needed anyway) so that you may duel said junglers that beat you
especially important vs lee

Counterjungling part of your jungling style, it has its benefits and disadvantages just like if you're a gank heavy jungler or an afk farm jungler, it's not necessarily better or worse in all situations. It's actually much safer to invade in SoloQ because their laners rarely react quickly, just like yours do.
IMO if you want to learn how to counter-jungle you shouldn't play jarvan, because j4 doesn't actually the greatest dueling atm and doesn't have all that much escape considering it's the same ability/cd as his main damage source (so you would have used it already) if things go awry.
You can learn to counter jungle on all junglers really, but really if you want to learn the concept, pick up nunu for twenty games or something. Learn how to abuse jungle timings (first buff should be around up 7 minutes, second buff should be not long after, next round should be around 12), how to ward in there, keeping track of the enemy jungle's ganks and presence, etc. All these comes naturally to playing nunu properly, and on top of that it's very difficult to catch nunu with movement quints, blood boil, and the slow so you can just run away if you meet trouble. Of course, you can pick up udyr or something and it'd be much the same and most of those twenty games you'll lose because it's nunu, but there's no better training ground imo. After you can go back to j4 and you'll be a better j4 with that knowledge.

Counterjungling Eve is especially dangerous because you're not as likely to see her coming or to know if she's watching you.
I wouldn't bother with it.

Or is invading over-rated and not worth the time? The beginner's way to invade, and which works consistently up through mid-Gold, is to abuse people who don't guard their jungler's buffs. Shop fast and wait in the bush behind your enemy's red.
* 20% of the time, someone is guarding it already. Leave. * 40% of the time, someone facechecks and if your team was fast like you, you get first blood. Leave. * 40% of the time, no one is there at all. Start with three buffs instead of two. Clear the entire camp. Leave a ward. Now his buffs will be up simultaneously ~7:15. Then figure out which one he's going to, and take the other one.
Make sure you back at the right time so you can be at your buffs (or his buffs) when they respawn ~7:15. Against bad junglers, and where blue is extremely important (think a Swain vs. Anivia mid lane with Fiddlesticks vs Diana jungle or something), I rush to their blue, ward around it before it spawns, and start it immediately so that my mid and I can both have blue, and their jungler/mid doesn't. If you see him gank at 7:05, take his buff (preferably opposite where he is ganking).
Guess where he'll be at all times. At first it will be blind guessing, but as you get better you start having a sense of where the jungler is. If you see him gank top and head back into the jungle at medium health, think about whether you could catch him being greedy and going for golems. If you see him gank bottom, and you're ganking top, take his big golem before leaving.

let your team know ahead of time too and try to make it make sense to them IE "i'm j4 and he's fiddle jungle, if we take his blue he can't annoy you for awhile"
something like that works.

this is actually perfect hahaha..
Oh and about the people talking about eve, she's pretty strong on the map, but in her jungle she usually has pretty low HP, the issue is being able to catch her before she dashes away since any good eve will have that available whenever they're jungling.
Also for surviving eve ganks mid i always get a pink and put it in either the 2 small bushes by mid, or in the bush by red, if they keep getting cleared you can place one near their blue in that bush between it and wolves. the detection of the pink is nice, but what you're looking for is placing a good ward down that may go unnoticed for long periods of time. Also if you do the one by their blue you should use a stealth ward before it so you don't face check. after that you of course want to ward her wraiths and try to get someone to ward her wolves or wraith/blue
top/bot lane is pretty limited on what they can do, pink tri or river and just be safe.
it's really up to mid/jungle to have the primary areas warded when eve is picked so they can kill her where she shows up.

I'm trying out the extended match history thing and trying to find a specific game but it won't load details of games too far in the past.
Riot pls.
It's nice that it shows the points where games turned around if they do. Seems kinda buggy though, eg. Rengar got Dragon after we got their Nexus on the graph. Also the building kills map seems really dumb.
