Yea, but as a 4th big item in complement with Scimitar it seems great.
So you get IE, PD, LW, BT, Scimitar in that order. Which is huge for lategame AD itemization because they no longer need an explicitly defensive item.
Its pretty bad early though

ER looks like a great item for Lucian to spam in lane at least on paper. Has synergy with his passive/spell rotations.

Flat hp is the most underwhelming defensive stat by far.Only reason I would get it if bork doesnt really work in that situation.

Also, very disappointed in Ronaldinho Lucian, looks like a custom skin someone made for you to download. Very low skin quality.

Played with Essence Reaver a bit. I have to agree with other people who've tested it on AD carries, it comes too late to be a lane sustaining item (for mana), and the regen just isn't powerful enough that it feels much better for extended sieges. I did think it felt good for those times when you stay out on the field for way too long because stupid stuff is happening all over the place, but I could've just spend the money on homeguard boots and gotten better results, I think. Tested with Caitlyn, Ashe, and Kog so far.

BT will deal less damage and heal him less. Considering that as long as he doesn't start the fight topped-off he's more probably going to hover at some health point instead of being full health the whole time despite people hitting him, I don't think it'll make much.
