you rush banshees straight after, you can try going banshees without any boots if you think its a lost cause. hexdrinker can be worth but im not sure. ive had lots of success running swiftness because it allows you to just force an allin straight from brush with ignite ult to finish them off because theres no way they can outrun you. the timing of teemo blind is important though. | ||

Are swifties making that big of an impact that they're really worth building somewhat early, and especially above mercs? I thought a slowed Hecarim lost bonus AD but he actually just loses the bonus from his MS, it can't go negative, so swifties seem pretty meh on him (esp. once you get Gauntlet since you have your own slow to keep people near). Mobis are out of the question for me because E provides you with a pretty big bonus, add in ghost and +2 or +5 doesn't matter anymore (plus you're gonna initiate with ult anyway) and being reduced to boots1 while in fights is meh by itself. I end up finishing boots after Gauntlet quite often, because shroud is too shitty to keep as is (seriously Riot wtf half the cost is the goddamn mana, you dun goofed) and once you have sheen and shroud might as well finish Gauntlet. Or after Cowl if their magic damage is higher. Maybe I should just buy Sheen first to be more threatening (and jungle faster, so more HP, more levels, more golz, yadda-yadda), finish boots (usually mercs), and then go toward Cowl or Gauntlet depending on what's needed. | ||

When people get mobos on hecarim i laugh hard, its such a trash buy its hilarious. you are almost 100% of the time, barring a team with all slows better off with mercs/tabis. My usual build with Hecarim is like, SS->Lizard ->Belt->Sheen then whatever i need after that. You need the tankiness from the giants belt but since E procs onhit sheen trucks fools. If youre getting really fed triforce is way better than gauntlet and then you just build fh/spirit visage from there and loltruck any kinda squishy with your copterspin Q | ||
