Alright, we're going to call it a day with all the Thorin drama, guys. I figured if it was about SI, onGamers, TSM, etc, it had some relevance to League but somehow you guys managed to devolve the discussion into an issue about race of all things.

This BT change is absolutely stupid. Having a pseudo-shield is just going to make melee characters who buy it annoyingly tanky and make it so fights are won basically based off which team has more BT's and has them more charged up. Adding a bunch of basically free hp to probably 2 or even 3 champs on each team is dumb, and Riot should have already learned that from the problems with Yasuo's shield, or when they nerfed runic bulwark into the ground.
We have no idea what the numbers are or the final cost. I'd still think the extra auto attack from Hydra is too good to pass up on melee's.
I think it would be cooler if it was an item active that stacked, and could heal yourself for a % of your current HP once you get it stacked enough. Would make more sense, in regards to the item name. BT, stores up blood, heals upon blood stacks reached, or upon reaching max stacks, has an active that doubles lifesteal for a few seconds. just some cool ideas that build upon the idea of a "blood thirster" item.

changes seem ok, doesn't seem they finalized anything yet though.
they weren't trying to remove dorans, the problem was by making the lifesteal static they made BT the only option for sustain. They did fuck up but for a different reason

Doesn't help that they nerfed LS quints, making Dorans blade even more necessary.

I have long waited for the uprising of non-BT first ADC's, I want my old Tristana back. I wonder how Graves will fare after this, he was just getting popular again and this might really hurt him, then again a shield likely works better on him than most ranged ADCs with the short range and free resists.

I want to see the proposed BT change on Fiora.
Grabs BT, ults at start of fight while she still has full health, comes out of ult with full shield.
Really seems like a neat passive to me.

pretty sure dblade 3% lifesteal was in the game up until (same patch iirc) boots start only was nerfed out of the game.
with Hydra being the same AD I don't feel like it would be optimal ever.

I guess the nerf where 4 of 5 people didn't start boots in almost every game anymore is a better way to word it

nerfed when they increased everyone's base ms by 25, and removed 25 ms from boots.

i feel like the old champions who haven't gotten a VU yet will look really out of place.
the map looks fucking sexy as hell, but it feels like a huge fucking jump in artistic style.
The blue minions are the best, they look so awesome with their hammers.
