pretty sure Ashe never saw a single pick on OGN. they wouldn't even play Jinx when Jinx was bonkers because of poor escape. just check gamepedia 0 picks in champions summer which was her popular period (fuck that website got so slow when it got bought out) | ||

This BT change is absolutely stupid. Having a pseudo-shield is just going to make melee characters who buy it annoyingly tanky and make it so fights are won basically based off which team has more BT's and has them more charged up. Adding a bunch of basically free hp to probably 2 or even 3 champs on each team is dumb, and Riot should have already learned that from the problems with Yasuo's shield, or when they nerfed runic bulwark into the ground. | ||

Adding a bunch of basically free hp to probably 2 or even 3 champs on each team is dumb, and Riot should have already learned that from the problems with Yasuo's shield, or when they nerfed runic bulwark into the ground. your post reinforces my theory that people dont actually think about the changes properly and just look for a way to whine about riot ruining the game every AD buys BT and it means playing champs without good ad ratios (with the exception maybe of kow maw nami atm it seems) becomes pretty bad because they finish BT before you get IE, get max stacks and chunk you from lane so everyone just goes BT/Shiv/LW every single game. its really stuipd and limits diversity and increases snowballing early. like ZERO melee champs buy BT atm anyway, hydra is almost exclusviely superior "fights being won based on which team has more BTs" this assumption is completely based on BT being overpowered and also completely based on poke damage not existing at all especially when champs who buy BTs typically have weaker poke than most AP champs | ||

I feel like melees running wild with a new BT shield is a nonexistent issue since I along with other people have mentioned no one really buys BT anyways if they're melee, it's just bork. | ||
