Pretty sure the only time tier lists were relevant was like pre s1. they're beyond stupid and worthless now I'm completely blown away by the fact that none of the League news sites have a competitive tier list that's completely objective. IE, based off of competitive pick trends with the ONLY criteria for rating them being pick/ban rate, weighted by win rate.
I'd argue that objective tier lists can be useful for the spectator or the very competitive in order to track and keep up with current competitive trends. It's also pretty neat information to know. Stuff like this.
Unfortunately, every single tier list I can find are full of subjective and/or completely useless crap like Stonewall's jungle tier list where he uses metrics like how fast a champion goldfishes.

Oh man Lina is all the way at the bottom lol.
My experience with DotA was limited, but Lina was like the only hero I knew how to play....
Just do some simple math factoring in magic resistance, then go in and zap people. Oh the fun times.
I am under no illusion that her kit would actually be viable in anything that is even remotely competitive.

This is why we should have the "bly monument of real talk" topic but people think it will be too toxic (of course it will, just man up). That way we can finally break the cycle and reach the ideal GD state, whine -> whine -> whine. It will be called the Valhalol and it will be glorious

That's actually interesting, because I thought her kit was too bland (beside her W which is a short aoe stun) to be played semi-seriously.
Goes to show how much I know about DotA.

Actually I had a question about this if you are still around, with SD being so popular right now why don't we see Lina more often for the Disrupion +Sunstrike combo?
(I also like to play her on Drow teams)

His E reduces enemy attack damage by 60% and it works on ancients. 6.81 basically made an already very hard to kill hero even harder to kill plus gave him a way to reliably catch up/get farm via ancient stacking.

sunstrike is invoker's EEE spell. if you're referring to lina's w, there are many other strong single target stuns that benefit more from the setup that shadow demon's disruption provides offensively (e.g. mirana's arrow).

LSA isn't the best spell to use an SD setup for, even amongst supports, plus she's competing with supports entire kits and not just a setup off of SD in tri-lanes.

max atk speed carry Lina is the way to go obviously. Only noobs play support Lina.
