So: Jax and Xin were in Curse v. Dig G3. Im watching it anyways, here are the autoattack counts for teamfights

+ Show Spoiler +


Teamfight 1 @ ~5-5:30 Xin 2 Auttoattacks, Jax 5 (possibly 6). 0 Of Xin's during the "teamfight", 1 of Jax's), rest during the "chase".

TF 2 @ ~12:30 Xin 5, Jax 2. (Jax died almost instantly, Xin almost died), no flare of Blade on either yet.

TF 3 @ 15: Xin 0, Jax 0 (basically Mundo just chased 3 kills for free).

4 @ 18:30 Xin 8 (5 cleaning up graves) (Jax 0).

5 @ 27:30 Xin 1 Jax 0 (Jax splitpushed instead of TP to fight, he had tp up)

6 @ 30:30 Xin 5, Jax 0 (maybe 1)

What does it mean? Well, if you are behind you basically can't autoattack as a melee in fights, and melee attacks are primarily used in the chase (although even including those a Dr. Mundo will HIT more cleavers in a fight, or a Zed will hit more Qs in a fight.

Autoing is basically a farming/splitpushing thing for characters without range. Practically, this means an AA item designed for melee characters is going to be OP or terrible in one of those environments to be balanced for the other.

Everytime he shows up, you can track his wriggle stack, his items, seeing if he finishes ff, botrk,v.v.v... You have a lot of time to prepare for the moment he wants to solo baron. If you tell me that you can't keep track of the jungler, as well as can't keep track of the baron, dragon pit, then I have nothing to say.

Of course I don't like how one champ can solo baron, but make it seem like it's impossible to stop is kind of absurd.

nothing new melee is in huge disadvantage in this game, heal buffs (lol at the mini ghost they added to it) exhaust change made it even worse, champions like thresh with retarded peel are just icing on the cake

How come nobody plays Tristana? She seems like she's kind of tailored for the current meta. Good escape, self peel with ult, grievous wounds and great scaling for League of Lategame. She even fits the current 4v0 meta with her attack speed steroid to push towers faster, and it allows her to skip the first couple of levels where I believe she's weakest. She even had a small buff recently with the mana cost being removed from her Q.

According to Lolking she actually has a pick rate around 8.5% in diamond, but I feel like I haven't seen one in like 70 games.

I think playing her competitively is like getting on a soapbox and going "WE'RE 100% GARUNTEED TO LANESWAP AND 4MAN PUSH!"

Yea, I'm just saying, that is why Feral Flare is going to be, by definition really hard to balance properly. If you need an item to provide relevancy in 1-2 autoattacks, its going to be ridiculous in the even you get in 5 or 6.

Isn't the problem with Tristana not the earlygame where you would be 4v0ing, its the lvls 4-11? I always understood that its because she really doesn't have any AD scaling spells, and before you have 2 items and enough range to actually use them she is weak. So, actually her midgame power trough is accentuated I'm fairly certain.

Actually, Tristana is pretty darn strong in lane. Her kill potential early on is really high due to her high base damages on her W and E. Tristana's biggest weakness has always been the midgame when it's no longer safe for her to use her W offensively and her Q steroid doesn't really kick in yet (due to not having many items).

She's good in lane until both her and her opponent go back and buy a bf sword or something, then she loses cause her abilitys don't scale with ad. Same for midgame where other ADC do a lot of damage with their ad scaling abilitys, she only has her base damages
Be nice, buy wards and don't feed double buff.

She's actually worse now because of all the heals and barrier in lane. Back in S2 when every bot lane ran Ignite/Exhaust, Trist could 100-0 them with her burst. IE/PD was also the cookie cutter build back then. It's weaker now and BT is stronger than before so all the AD scaling marksman will be far more useful until late game.

Maybe I'm just out of it and didn't read it, but isn't the probnlem with eral flare tee clear speed? I don't care about damahe, but some junglers just destroy monsters so fast it's riduclouslkous. I may be silver this season, but I think I can still recognize a problm ahere feral falre improves clear sppeeed so much.
