Then it only has a use if 3 crits at super speed every minute can be used as well or better in any scenario as 2K gold spent elsewhere. Which is to say, it doesn't necessarily have a use, though one could still be found. | ||

When you're talking about the high farm priority positions (typically ADC and/or mid lane), they want items that have really high slot efficiency late in the game, right. An item like Executioners Calling actually has decent stats on it for the pricepoint and in certain games the passive is great, but the problem is when you're looking at a build you're never comparing it to other 2k gold items, you're comparing it to 3k gold items and those always end up looking better for obvious reasons. The only damage items that people get all the time that are less than about 2500g are LW and Void Staff which Riot has already said is stupid and they want to change these items at some point to make them more expensive. I feel like if Riot were to overhaul the shop something I'd like to see is some reorganization of price points so that every big damage item is in the say 2500-3500 gold range, so that players can make choices based on the differences in stats between the items, rather than differences in the raw slot efficiency power value. Tank items I think actually already follow a more or less good curve where every big tank item is in the 2500-3000g range (and slightly cheaper than big damage items) and I feel like in general when you want tank items you have more choices in individual games about what to buy than you do when you're buying damage. | ||
