Just think of it this way, Riot has had this approach since the Sona days. That's a long time now. They have a very clear trend of what they want their supports to be. It's normal now to expect it. The only thing you can hope for is that they don't completely go overboard with it. It has to happen because Riot has shown a pretty straight forward response in terms of what they want from a support role. So, I'm going to assume they'll buff her E(the shield)'s ap ratio, and nerf both the early game damage and ratio slightly from her Q. That's the usual trend I believe. If I'm wrong, that's cool too. I very much enjoy seeing Karma in that support role. | ||

I'd be surprised if the way her ult is hard to use offensively (esp. for a support) with the rampant mobility, W lacks value on champions without hitting a Q first (seriously as soon as people in front of you can push you get 2 ticks of it at most and it's super expensive), etc. would be taken into account to justify Q being strong to compensate for one of her spell dealing no damage nor cc and another one being reliant on said Q. | ||

Rengar is pretty obnoxious because he currently has a huge range to engage from and an oracle's lense won't save you (especially since he'll in range to gap close on you and tripleQ anyway), but in Kha'Zix's case it's "in combat" so as long as you can use it to see where he goes and whether he's trying to come back in, the stealth in itself isn't nearly as annoying as the damage reduction. | ||

Also from a vision war perspective, its pretty annoying to have to reserve your ward sweeping items for combat. | ||

 Akali on the enemy team? -> get an oracle's lens, and maybe another sweeper on the team so you can remove wards and still have it up for teamfights. Of course I can't really disagree with ze0das about how "needing the team to get some more sweepers" will on average give an advantage to the "stealth" team in a soloQ environment, but I don't believe it's grounds for determining a champion's balance by itself. It'll always be annoying to have vision wars and get your team to help with wards regardless of stealth. | ||
