i think u missed pretty important part of this vid
I didn't miss the smite at all.
Hell, didn't TL talk about the same exact shit early season 1 about how smite was secret OP on blitz because he could smite grab through minion block? zzz KR is years behind TL.
if you don't think that play was amazing Idk why you play this game because then nothing can impress you. Pretty u would have alrady fatfingered your wardjump and then jump on the minion with planning to try vayne with E only to die pathetically under tower <333

Dumbass, there's only one Tolkien. The other is Swaglord Tokin the god.

Bitch pls, ward jump, Q to minion, flash E vayne. Die to eve Fusilero (Lee Sin) [All]: Worth
Smite grab through minion block is one thing, smite on a minion that you only had vision of after you ward jump in and as you throw your Q (smiting the right one BTW to just slip the Q past) is totally beyond compare with that.
It's hard to tell if he would even have had vision that the minions were there at all, if it was pure reaction to smite after dashing in and seeing minions then that was a pure starsense play, we're talking Flash comscan tier. He could have looked at his own lanes to see minion progress but even that is still genius...

I assume he knew the minions would be there but its still very impressive to see you need to Smite to hit the Q and then get the correct one while the projectile is already flying. Thats some godlike reflexes.

Pay someone to level your account, or buy an account (I think it's like $40 now for a fresh level 30 account from one of the many booster/farmer sites?). Alternately, EXP boosts. Either way.
My opinion is that you should use the time on newbie island (or smurf island, whichever you're on) to learn the gaem, make friends, and abuse lowbie status to get experienced players to teach you.
In any case, I'm usually the first to call out plays that everyone else thinks are impressive as mundane/bad (e.g. everyone was so obsessed with Uzi's Vayne at Worlds even though he played so garbage it was unreal), but there's pretty much no way to not be impressed with that Lee.

Edit: That post on reddit right now about the Renekton changes is ridiculous.
It's ok because he's not very good late. Personally, I think it's good for the game if you have champions/strats that peak at different times of the game. If every champion peaks or have the same power level throughout the game it gets boring plus it lowers variety of viable champions.
If every champion has the same power levels throughout the game, competitive teams will only pick the champions with the highest overall impact.
The problem I have observed with this is that riot really doesn't believe it. Like, imagine a Renekton that does "his job" something like winning lane, taking tower, and roaming for a dragon or a kill. That isn't that great of a job by Renekton, but it is good enough for him to be ahead of say, a Jax or Olaf pretty deep into the game. That is the real problem, IMO, they don't really get punished until super late.
If Rene can't out right win lane vs jax then it's pointless to play him. Sunfire cap/SV already hurt him anything more then a small nerf to his first 2/3 points in q and he will be benched like jayce

i think this is a good breakdown of why the play was impressive. it showcases high level mechanics, reactions, and game sense, all in kr challenger
at the same time, i can't say my response to it was as awed as to something like madlife's flash hook on kennen or faker v ryu, because while the total play is exceptional, the individual parts that made it happen are feasible for the typical 'decent' player, and i think many people could pull off this sort of play in the same way that the 'insec' was impressive at the time but has now become a staple of decent lee sins
this is way too much discussion for a fifteen second highlight

Thats not the point. The point is if he outright wins lane vs. Jax (which is just doing what he should, by the way) that advantage persists for far too long into the game (unless Jax can Freeze the wave really deep and freefarm, which a half-decent Renekton would never allow anyways).

The only thing hurting Jayce is the not stacking tear on form change nerf, if that was reverted you'd see him again pretty sure
Fuck Jayce please nerf him more. No matter how hard you destroy him in lane he still just safely clears the wave from off screen. Give it 1/3 damage to minions and he can have his Tear and even the ridiculous release E back.
