I'm going to write off 2/3 of the losses since it's the first time I tried playing ranked seriously in months but after I got the hang of it I didn't do too badly. Would be interesting to see where I wind up after placements since my smurf was plat V prior to the reset and my main was D5, especially given that I expect to 8-2 or better on my main and probably 6-4 or 7-3 on my smurf. | ||

I don't understand this need for "rework" to me it's just sad because people play those champs and don't want them to change, what they need are slight buffs not completely new kits and sometimes the reworks are completely useless. See heimer, he's in the exact same place he was before : never picked, turrets easily destroyed, E easier to use but they fucked W to compensate etc. I just don't see the point. Why not keep the champs as they are, balance them, and release new ones if they want to create new things so badly ? | ||

Poppy rework - good example of rework. Absolute trash early, but if she gets items she becomes probably the strongest champion in the game. Sion - AD or AP, but his kit is awkward. Can't farm easily without W, but needs E to deal damage/survive, and then R does nothing for AP builds, but lets AD sion with a hydra who can hit stuff live indefinitely. But people play him so he's untouchable. GP - ??? He literally just needs E to be moving cast, and MAYBE a slight numbers tweak and he's fine. Darius - I guess this is a minor rework. I don't think it's any of his skills, it's just a numbers&passive tweak I think. | ||

I enjoy playing current GP, he is my favorite champ, and by reworking him they are basically removing that champ. He's not a safe pick, he doesn't win every lane, you can't hard carry with him, and that's fine! He's a niche-pick, and the reason people don't pick him is because he's not picked in lcs, not because there's anything wrong with his kit. | ||
