The thing with Elise (or just about any form switcher) is that they should get some sort of power trade off for having the utility of 6 spells. All of Elise's spells are really good, Rappel is ultimate tier in my opinion for how useful it is.
Why would I want 4 good spells when I could have 6 good spells? Jayce has a form switch but really how useful is W? The ranged version is good late game but the shield is pretty shitty unless you were to max it first (aka never).
If I were to go after anything on Elise it would be the range of Rappel, good lord. The amount of times you see her tower dive somebody and then just rappel out to creeps before taking more than 1 shot is insane. I wouldn't necessarily want to take away it's ability to target minions and monsters but I think that combined with it's huge range is a huge reason why she is so powerful (ability to escape in jungle, tower dive, etc.)

If I could change one thing about Elise I would make towers target her over spiderlings.

I think the best thing would be to hit her base damage and add to her ratios. Keep all that fancy shit, but make her have to build damage to do it. It's disturbing that she builds full tank and assassinates people.

The fact that elise has eaten needs to every single ability and still remained a fairly hotly contested champion is fairly good evidence of this Fairly hotly contested? I like how you are underselling it lol It's region dependent. Which regions don't favour her? I don't follow all them and I'm curios.

(just went through bans/pick for last 2 days, looks like eu found out spiderbitch is super stronk).

No, Elise's E is definitely Ult power when you combine a Skillshot Stun (with good range) with a Free Zhonyas (with additional escapability, for 1 pt by the way). That move should probabably scale linearly from 1/5 duration, to current duration. Other than fixing that, they would have to really rebalance her numbers, which would risk turning her into old Eve.

In season 3, Mundo and Eve were very good, but Eve was mid-tier in terms of popularity and Mundo was one of the least played in the game. At the time, they were relatively nerf-proof. I play Viktor mid, and he's basically completely nerf-proof. Not really interested in playing a champion I'll have to drop in a few weeks because of nerfs. Mundo wasn't that good in S3 jungle. The meta favored early ganking and Mundo needed to back after clearing buffs first time around, which was a pretty easy timing window to exploit with any of the popular junglers at the time.
I suppose Mundo top may have been pretty good though, in retrospect.

State of the league (similar to state of the game) with thorin on today. F'ing hilarious. Thorin made everyone look like amatuers in the league scene. His knowledge of League is 100 times theirs and League is the only game they probably follow whereas Thorin watches almost every Esports game.
I laughed so hard
