I'd rather they used their brains. not 2 games ago I had a thresh support who was perfectly safe dive 1v4 into the enemy team to TRY and kill their half hp leona support at the expense of giving their mid laner a free kill.

Thinking is hard, I remember a match I played on thresh where on three separate occasions I flash flayed their team and ulted only to realise my team wasn't actually looking for a fight and get exploded. Game sense is a crutch for the weak.

Well yeah but depending where you are on your map, if you want to gank mid you'd probably just go and take wraiths on the way because it's quick and you have that bonus gold stacked up. Going to any other camp is, in a lot of plausible situations, too much of a time expenditure, especially if you know that the enemy jungler is heading mid soon (also totally feasible in a lot of situations). It basically just screws up your gold flow by quite a bit. It's not a huge deal but it's irksome to say the least.

I've had my whole jungle taken from me multiple times while I'm sitting on 80 stacks, just watching that money go to waste. Worst part is, I buy a fair share of wards to protect my buffs so every minute or so that I'm sitting at 80/80 is another potential kill because no money for wards. The amount of times me pink warding tribrush (as any role for that matter) for bot/top has saved lives is immeasurable. 100g is so worth stopping a kill. Bonus points for when you cause kills because the enemy team wants to kill it so bad. I got my mid a quadra at like the 10 minute mark by stopping a gank with a pink, ulted/rooted (as support Zyra) them while they tried to kill it and held them there long enough for my mid to come down. Another thing I see way too often is somebody runs through a river brush, right past a pink ward and doesn't stop to kill it. It's appalling how often this happens, like if I can see it on my minimap while I'm fighting somebody across the map, you should be able to see it as you walk over it. Gold league problems. I would say can't wait for plat but I've noticed zero difference in awareness or decision making from bronze to even the few diamonds I've been matched with.

I can count on the other team being so bad in Bronze/Silver that I can just carry the game if I can convince one person on my team to just follow me around. Usually I'm the support and I tell my AD that I'm LoL jesus and I will lead them to the promised land of kills and enemy nexuses. But Gold is an awkward region where I'm not good enough to solo carry, and the other players are a combination of bad enough/good enough to make winning a struggle. Plat and Dia are pretty 50/50, but I can tell if I make particularly good or bad plays that affect the game which is rewarding.
