When you do anything and then repeat it, your body/mind will internalize it. Typing, golfing, playing league. Play well and repeat it and you will get better. But similarly, play poorly and repeat it and you will solidify your poor play.

Three tales from placement matches:

I am support annie, my ADC is lucian. I get a good engage on Blitz/Doesn't matter after blitz misses his hook at level 2 and I W/Q both of them and get two autos onto the carry. She is at 30% HP, I am at 80%, 100% HP, 100% mana Lucian stands there and auto attack creeps as blitz crank walks up to me, E's me and the two of them kill me. Lane snowballs, blames support.

I am support thresh with tristana, against Zyra/Ezreal. I get a hook on to Zyra at level 2, and Q/E and bet both of them with trist within range to W on top of both of them. She doesn't, instead she takes the time to walk up and auto attack. Doesn't even e. Following this she stays in lane while the enemy jungler ganks, and instead of W'ing to the turret before she is cc'd in range of everyone, she holds it until after. Dies. Blames support.

I am support thresh, with ezreal, against annie/cait. I get hook onto annie and have my ult, so I go in, get great damage. We lose the fight because instead of a real damage item, ezreal went sheen. (we actually ended up winning this game)

I am top mundo. Team asks me to ban 3 champions, none of which are Kassadin.I do and pick my weaker role so they can have theirs. Enemy team first picks Kassadin. Ally picks Xerath into Kass, loses lane to Kassadin. Ezreal rushes BotRK against Vi, Kassadin, Sona, Tristana, and Riven, none of which are building health items. Deals no damage all game, feeds trist 10 kills. Blames top for not banning Kassadin.
