Naut fell off late even in the best of times when he was played originally as a jungler. Now I don't think we'll ever see him in a serious game baring buffs. He's a fun champ to play but even throwing him as a possible support your essentially a less powerful leona.

I dunno, I love naut's design and abilities but he is just horridly outclassed.

You mean at level 18? It's still around 1s for most of the game (a bit less early on and he gets fucked super hard by the slow animation). Not that it's bad, but the difference is noticeable, think Jinx's E normalisation and Annie's passive nerf.

I think that naut in his current state if it wasn't for how dominant early game oriented junglers like elise/lee/vi are would be fantastic but well late game junglers just feel like a pretty big risk that most teams are unwilling to take (Until roccat do it ofc)

The problem isn't that they are dominant (as in, why those junglers are bleh), its that the jungle itself dominates some of these junglers. Maokai and Nautilus probably could smite blue (like, at the start if you didnt fear any invade) then go straight to red and smite might be back up in time. Plus, they would be at like 40% Life.

I still don't get why they decided to make the jungle hard to kill and do decent damage.

I feel like wight is a massive gating problem, junglers that can take it down reasonably has a massive advantage over anyone else. I don't think double golems is that bad for naut/maokai etc but they'll lose an absurd amount of time compared the big three taking wight and will probably take a beating in the process

riven and and elise aren't outrageously out of line
they are maybe slightly out of line (not even sure riven is a problem)

when people see a champ that is popular and does well, they just make up some reason why it's good. Vi does really insane damage for her mobility and cc capabilities, but her weakness is mostly tankiness.

Riven certainly isn't but how do you justify Elise? I find it hard to believe that a champion who has been must pick/ban for 48 years only slightly out of line. She completely strangles jungler choices because one jungler will inevitably be her (unless banned ofc, but then she is always a viable ban).

Sorry, bit angry and tired of seeing her.

she's incredible versatile, and is slightly too strong in most areas, if you hit her too hard nobody will play her, but you want to nerf her kinda like lee sin where he pops up all the time but isn't really "OP" anymore

what would be an appropriate nerf to elise?

lowering the amount of time she is untargettable during rappel?
perhaps slightly weaker spiderling damage?

just reduce her damage a bit
maybe the % based is too high

I could see something work like making his W toggle (like Aatrox) with the downside of lower movement speed when W activated.

If you're taking that much damage as Nautilus, clearly you aren't running 40 armour from runes, 0/30/0, and starting cloth5 nearly hard enough.

I didn't watch IEM Sao Paulo but it seems Saint did gud enough of a job that Carmac is extending his offer to have Saint cast IEM World Champions as well. For those of you who watched, was it that good? :O

He was entertaining, and very informative. Rather than just commentate on what was going on, he was always providing info as to what 'should' be done, and why. It was refreshing to have casters that knows what they're talking about, especially one that's still involved heavily in current scene (lets' be honest, jatt and kobe haven't been involved in pro play in any of the recent changes, so their actual analysis from a pro perspective is sort of lacking)

He was really good, pretty funny and insightful but felt like he would go a bit overboard with the criticism as giggle worthy as suggesting Minerva has never played thresh it felt a bit unnecessarily harsh

I hope he takes it 9-9 I'd be super pleased to see him casting more. It was super neat to have someone who doesn't pull a punch if a team makes a mistake. He really does seem to have an understanding of the game and how a play went to how it should be done.

Also it's freakin Saint.

Well yeah insurus vs pain was pretty damn comedic. Idk maybe I just see enough player bashing hanging around TL LoL LRs that hearing it also from the caster is mildly disorientating

It's simple, only gank with red on. Miss cocoon, rappel anyway, pop W and execute to get kills anyway fun, fun, fun.
