I think you need at least one other knock-up for him to be really effective, but when you're drafting a team that's fairly easy to accommodate. Yeah ive been playing him myself aswell can he can be scarily effective if there is an on demand knockup in your comp tho there are lots of small knockups you dont really think about on various champions.

The small knockups are ridiculously difficult to take advantage of, though. When the window is like .25s knock-aside on Draven (or something small), its very hard to react and use the ulti during that duration, if there isn't alot of telegraphing.

I mean, as long as you're mashing R it shouldn't be too hard to take advantage of small knock-ups. That's the main advantage of not actually needing to target someone to use your ult.

Also keep in mind that lag can be a bit of an issue on solo Q, where as in pro games the ping should be like 3 ms at most. So getting his ult off should be easier. The wombo combo of Ori ult into Yasuo ult can singlehandedly 2 shot a whole team. There's been a few games I've seen on wings stream or Hai's stream where an Ori ult or Alistar knock up into Yasuo ult will chunk 2-5 people.
The biggest issue is that you gotta find a spot for him in the team comp, and how you are building him. Most pros seem to think the Shiv into IE is the best option, but its such a huge gold sink and you're so squishy I dunno how I feel about it. I agree with shiv as first item, I just question the IE when you are still pretty squishy in the 7-11 range and your shield passive isn't at its highest. The issue I have is that there aren't a ton of items that also benefit his kit. The only ones I can think of are Frozen Mallet, Atmas, BT, BotRK and Triforce.

There's no doubt yasuo will be picked/banned. He is insanely strong.

From what I've watched most pros seems to play him as an AD assassin so they are just trying to maximize his damage. With Shiv/IE you're almost at 100% crit chance and the bonus damage on crits. I agree you're low on defense, but he's being played more to blow up squishys than do sustained damage in fights.

Been going Shiv>IE aswell and the reason is that just a shiv isnt enough damage. You need AD from somewhere to add oomph to your damage. IE adds a lot tho since it brings him to 90% crit and ups the now almost guaranteed crit dmg. Its a lot of gold but I dont think a 2 item timing is beyond the reach of a pro game.
You really dont need more dmg then those 2 items either so you can then go the Randuins/Spirit Visage for more tanking stats.
At heart Yasuo can be played well as an assassin. You dont have to be tanking most of there team.

There are still situations in which you won't be able to last hit. That why I switched to 3ls instead. Most of the time you just get shoved really fast and it doesn't help you anyway so might as well just grab a more efficient rune(also I delay vamp A LOT most of the time).

I know Annie is broken currently but I don't understand why Scarra keeps trading alone vs Sivir, Sona. Is he trolling.

I actually get agitated by the lack of sightstone.

Gonna be casting a 1v1 tournament for my college @ twitch.tv/hiicantpk .

If you can get it at reasonable time, it's very hard to deal with him.

I mean, I understand wanting to build AP, but you build Sightstone and you are literally set, don't even need to upgrade it.

I logged in for a quickie and checked my ranked status. It says I'm inactive although I haven't lost any LP. Have they reactivated the decay ? Or is the message just there, but without any effect?
