Geez, when 6.79 came out for DotA 2, people were excited for the changes (with some calling bullshit, obv.) and I remember someone jokingly saying that in LoL people yell when Riot makes big changes, while in DotA they're interested about what's going to come out of huge IceFrog patches. Change isn't bad, guys, and addressing the fact that supports couldn't build items without their whole team deciding to help wasn't a bad intent either. Sure, Riot only looked at the symptoms rather than the causes and used a shit approach, but it doesn't make the idea of changing stuff bad. Can we stop the whining about "it's not s3 anymore it sucks"? We had it last season anyway. Doesn't mean that Riot didn't majorly fuck up and didn't destroy most of their "support-role" pool or dumped way too much gold toward the position. I want to rant too but I realise it's only been one day and a half, so I'll wait for the hotfixes and that's all. As for Yasuo I'm not sure how people focus on "manaless and full of dashes". The guy's ult keeps people in the air. If Alistar hits a 5-man Flash Pulv, Yasuo can ult immediatly to make sure he'll hurt anyone he hits, and add some duration to the uncleansable cc so that his team can position or gun down people with AoE. That's pretty strong, even if the animation for the ult is short. Also his W. It blocks every single linear projectile. Orianna's ball has been confirmed as stopping at the wall. It'll stop ECA, Collateral Damage or Super Mega Death Rocket. It'll stop Nidalee spears. It even stops "temporary" stuff like Zed's W, from what their definition is. It has the potential to be gamebreaking and noone picked up on it? Not that I mind too much—although being manaless will make it easier for him to spam it if he itemises CDR—the concept is rather cool, and strong abilities by design, while harder to balance, make for a better champ differentiation than just numbers. | ||
