Isn't phantomlord like a "top" palyer wtf? (I mean NA solo q, but I guess you guys have some respect for that) He'd be able to jungle pretty well at least at 2k+(EUW) level after laning so long he can recognize opportunites pretty well
No way he is talking about PL. That guy ain't even an ADC and is somewhat famous for his revive/tp karthus (and in general for an awesome karthus) and plays mostly APs. Probably more like Destiny, from the only ADCs.

@wei2coolman I'm sorry, but Sejuani's blue-red clear is one of the fastest in the game. I currently main her in soloq and I always, I repeat always, show up first toplane if both junglers go both buffs --> top. On top of that if you ask your support to place one ward in their jungle you can always keep track of the enemy jungler and if you spam ping and scream in chat when you know he's going to your buffs your laners will come. Plus it's basically a guaranteed kill because of her cc.

Destiny got good relatively very fast though, even if he has never jungled or played anything but draven id bet anything he'd learn jungle a lot faster than some random guy playing random shit for the same amount of time because at least he has a good idea of what good junglers do and what bad junglers used to do

I hate Wheelie for maining Sej, but yeah - He always gets to toplane at least exactly at the same time as me on Vi, sometimes earlier if I'm blue side

When do you feel sunfire starts to fall off? Some champs really like to rush it (renekton, shen, etc), but if you dont rush it and opt for some damage or something first, is it worth it to buy it a little later into the midgame? It seems to fall off a lot later

sej clears fast after a few levels

Sejuani's clear is about as other junglers in the early game against buffs. Her W at rank 1 does about 120 damage, and her Q does about 200.
|
sejuani's real problem I think is her low damage in skirmishes.. obviously she's a tank/initiator that scales really well into the lategame, I don't think that's really debatable. there has to be some sort of reason that almost nobody plays her.
or maybe not, it's not like syndra was bad and just suddenly got good out of nowhere so everyone wants to play her now.
|
Whenever I know Sejuani will be top at level 3 I'm annoyed because her W lets her damage you while running/chasing, and her E makes it hard to chase or run from her myself. Surprisingly, she also wins the exchange if I don't get to initiate on her with a charged Q as Vi. If she gets the jump, it triggers her passive and I can't charge Q without taking free damage from W and ~2 autos, and despite Vi's good dps it's enough that Sej will win and usually force me away from the lane (E only good for auto reset with a long-ass cd, Q long cd, while Sej has strong base damage and high uptime on W).
She's scarier than Amumu in these situations, 10 bonus armour from her passive is freaking strong at low level.
^ Sej disappeared after nerfs to her ult (roughly -0.5s on duration) and iirc her Q cd. She still dishes out much more pain than Maokai or Nautilus, possibly a bit more than Amumu, and she doesn't get oom as fast as them either. She's only second to Zac in the "damage-dealing tank" department, and the guy was broken from release and still has hard to compete with low cd %health damage for his dps.

Nerfs to like, a dozen champs that she shared a role with probably had a lot to do with it. I'm not sure why this is always an overlooked part when people want to say 'see people just suck at seeing what is good/bad, this champ wasn't changed at all and is now top tier!!' Clearly it has nothing to do with the fact that for the last year she was buried beneath extremely strong versions of Kha, Jayce, Diana, TF, Ahri, Fizz, Zed, etc etc. I'm not saying she was 'bad' and needed them nerfed to become good, but she hasn't been 'hidden OP' all this time, just good.
If a whole bunch of tops(or jungles) get nerfed, Sej might 'suddenly get good out of nowhere' also.

As soon as dueling junglers get nerfed/shifted out of the meta she will probably be very strong. Basically as soon as the Amumu/MF combos come back she will come back as well.

So today I suddenly came to the realization that with the addition of TrickZ CLG has a jungler main playing jungle for the first time since saintvicious.

While saint did play mid when he was a newer player of LoL in general, he was strictly a jungle main during his time on CLG afaik? :o

Why does sej clear blue-->red fast? Doesn't seem like her W should do more damage than someone like shyvana

They got their bases covered there though with Nien and Aphro.
+ Show Spoiler +Although I would argue that Nien probably worked out. I think he's solid on top. I'm not sold on the Aphro pick up but whatever.
