It's just problematic that his ganks are meh when ult is down, and soloqueue has alot more of fights and general chaos where you need to be strong than arranged play | ||

Most lanes are "decided" before a jungler has a chance of hitting lvl 6. #2. Without coordination you can't "win a teamfight" before it is supposed to happen. (Aka ban Amumu in Bronze). #3. Can't Bypass Wards (Jarvan, Zac, Vi, Aatrox). #4. Mediocre Dives. Honestly, Nocturne is almost a "carry" jungle. He belongs in pick comps, but his ult timer is really long for a pick comp. Its a style thing, but the style is out of style. | ||

I think it was made by the same studio. Animation style(especially on that malphite) seems to really fit. As for why nocturne doesn't see soloq play, he doesn't have as much impact on lanes before 6, which is where most soloq games are won. He's a lot stronger in arranged play, especially when combo'd with another global. 3v2 noct apart from surprise factor doesn't bring as much as a lot of other junglers. But 4v2 with shen(banned/picked) or karthus/tf(not fotm any more, and very vulnerable in mid currently) makes it a whole new ballgame. Oh and as pointed out below, why play noct when you can play vi. At 6 vi can initiate from roughly the same range, and brings FAR more reliable CC. I'm not even sure that noct can outcarry vi if given kills&farm. | ||

I'd say Nocturne just misses the cut on both of these. | ||
