In the upcoming months I'm going to be hosting a LoL themed Mafia game over in the Mafia subforum. For those of you who have never played before (it's also known as Werewolves in some circles) it's a really fun game you can play IRL or live. (More info here if you're interested. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mafia_(party_game)) Anyway, in case any of you are interested in joining the subforum (there are quite a few people who play games there who frequent the threads here as well; I know Soniv used to play quite a bit) we're always looking for more people to sign up and play in games! Usually you have to have some prior experience playing in a couple of the special 'Newbie' games first which is why if anyone was looking forward to playing in my upcoming game, I'm giving you fair warning so you can sign up for a newbie game or two in advance and get them out of the way. I think some of you guys really might enjoy Mafia it even if you don't intend to play in the game I'm hosting, so defs check it out! | ||

I'm just curious as to who is flavor of the month for Top Lane right now. I don't follow the pro scene at all and I don't post here a lot so I'm behind when it comes to the current meta. The reason why I want to know this as I'm starting to play more ranked and would like to know what to expect. Thanks | ||

Shen has some rough matchups but buffed visage is still helping him a lot. Jarvan is seeing some more popularity. His build versatility contributes a lot to this. Renekton will probably never fall out of favor for some reason. He always seems to have some fans. You will never lose a lane against anyone (maybe vlad because of his sustain) and at 6 u can all in and free kill. Against mana champs, just harrass and make them use their mana. Than just use ur q/w/e heal up and wait til they're low on mana and All in. Free kill. Shen is the 2nd most broken top. Always useful. You can single-handedly win bot or mid with your Ulti. And when you're ahead, there is no top that can beat you (sunfire/rad/spirit). just e... q/w... while auto between skills. Free win. Zed is by far the most broken champ in the game (next to get a nerf). He can kill anyone. Unreal escapes. Top laners usually go tanky so for this reason, zed used mid mainly. Zed top is unreal, i dont' get why more people don't use him top. Renekton is great because his sustain. Rumble is OP against melee and always useful in fights. See the trend here? All manaless champs. Nuff said. Riot broke the game with mana-less champs IMO. You can stay in lane longer than any mana champion pre-items. Zac/shen almost perma banned... so i'd learn zed/renekton/rumble as your main. | ||

There's seriously no good way to answer this question. Ping/type... and try to carry. This is why all the snowball champs are solo que warriors. You can carry easy with these champs. Riven is a prime example. You can 1v2... pretty easy once you're fed, all this and still escape. Be positive. When you bash your team early game for dying, you will lose the game. If you have nothing good to say, don't say anything at all.... my mommy told me that... works for league. | ||
