It's not about how good they look, it's about how well it fits in with the rest of the art, and I think the new art would be a terrible fit.

I think he might work well with Annie. Generally when people do a different comp bot they try to get lots of kills and both Rengar and Annie are decent at getting kills. Most bot lanes are AD carry(ranger) and Support but since you guys aren't playing meta that doesn't matter. Your opponents won't be playing something vastly superior.

They don't really fit in line with Riot's current champions or minion designs.
They'd need a massive remodel of the maps and champions to make them look less cartoony and more like this.

I figure Rango would still just prefer Maw. That said I'd say the item in it's current state sounds pretty niche.

What I think is the problem is that, honestly, I feel like he is basically going to be Jax/Irelia tier. And that is fine, because he is a lot like those champions, and I like those champions. The problem is that Riot has basically implicitly said, that they prefer the Zed/Khazix/Renekton (and to a lesser extent Darius/Garen, even though they arent great right now) model of AD skills with long cooldowns/burst instead of sustained damage and low cooldowns.

Uhhgh, i dont know what to do as pantheon when your behind, went hexdrinker->boots 1->LW, v elise (+heavy mao supp) and just didnt know what to do, ended up getting a vamp, giants belt, then warmogs.

Well, I don't know if they'd want to go in that direction with the art design then, because one of the major criticisms leveled at DotA 2 in China is how the art style doesn't fit Asian style preferences very weill (outside of a few heroes).

If they go ahead with the proposed changes i will demand a fucking full refund and the debonair skin, they cant just do that kind of work, it disrespects people, especially since the changes are aimed at pro teams not at the general population :s
