Nami, lulu, thresh, sona, etc. Nami and Sona I see go oom a lot, same with Lulu. Thresh on the other hand I can definitely see, I rarely see him go oom, even on pro streams. Sona and Nami go oom mostly because of over usage of ability. Especially Nami. She uses up so much mana because everyone still sucks at hitting Q's.

You have to change the filters in the strategy forum because it only shows threads active in the last 2 weeks by default, so if you looked for it, you may not have found it.

You don't pick rumble/lee/Shen/Zac and shit because they're manaless, you pick them because they work in the meta (rumble/shen are decent 1v2, lee jungle can make plays, Zac's initiation and disruption is godlike). Saying resourcelessness is inheritantly broken design without examining the kits of the heroes is kind of willful ignorance.
Tomato/Tomáto
Rumble/Shen don't inherently have better 1v2 lanes than other characters if you discount their ability to spam with impunity + their ability to build whatever suits them. Like, Malphite, if he could spam with impunity, is clearly superior 1v2 than them both. If Shen (Q/W) and Rumble(Q/E) had mana costs they would have fairly bad 1v2 lanes. Shen with mana is basically Pantheon in a 1v2. An energy Nasus, on the other hand, would be awesome 1v2.
There was a game in NA LCS this week (C9 v. Coast I think) Elise (who is half manaless by the way) built Guise + Chalice vs. Rumble who had Guise + Negatron. Advantage Rumble, even though he has spent less.

Supports that "don't have mana problems" don't because they have to hold onto critical combat skills like tornado, pulverize, or dazzel+shatter for...actual combat. Else they get rocked because of the nature of the long 2v2 lane and long cooldowns. Its not like they cant run oom (or wouldnt if they were playing a solo lane), its that mana conservation is also cooldown conservation for them in a much more extreme way than say, a solomid player.

The only supports I have mana problems on are Blitz (I mean come on, you have 240 mana lvl 1, that's 2 Q's), Leona and Sona. Lulu sometimes in really aggressive lanes. I'm probably like the only person who refuses to run mana regen runes though, and I rush chalice a lot to make up for it.
It's kind of funny because people always say Leona never goes OOM, but I always do. I like to just press W and not do anything and just scare the enemy bot lane into thinking I'm going to initiate. Still, I've been playing around with building sotAG on her-- Kindlegem is a great item, and spirit stone is not a bad regen alternative to philo IMO. Let's me pick up Tabi/Mobo instead of Merc's too.

TBH, I haven't found Aatrox to be that strong. Sure, there will be situations where you'll scream about his crazy regen or his passive, but he seems like an early/mid game hero that lacks utility in the late game. Zac seems stronger. Of course, we have yet to see what a really good Aatrox can do.

Its such a cock block to use a reroll on an ARAM game just to have some asshat dodge.
Sucks cuz you have to requeue, AND you lose your reroll.
-.-

You aren't supposed to lose your reroll when somebody else dodges. Are you sure you're losing it?
Or maybe you are the asshat dodging?

Why would I dodge an ARAM game?
I dunno, maybe I only had 1 reroll to begin with, but I pretty sure I had two.
Speaking of ARAM, I got flamed the other day for having characters unlocked on my account that are bad at ARAM.. "Make a smurf noob, fags like you that play instaloss champs like Udyr ruin this game mode."

you get your rerolls back when someone dodges

If you're the kind of dude who dodges after a reroll, you deserve your 5 minutes and lost reroll.
That being said, I learned the hard way after rolling trundle into poppy into tryndamere. I mean really

It's amusing that the "troll"-ish game mode of ARAM, when Riot finally caved and implemented it, is magnitudes more popular than Dominion and TT, both of which Riot tried so hard to promote lol.

When I get oom with Leona, I feel like I fucked up majorly—but she's by far my best support and I'm pretty aggressive so when I spend mana I generally make stuff happen, so there's generally a kill/back and I back myself before I'm oom. Taric could be in the same boat I guess, I remember wishing I had a chalice on him and Alistar, but it's because their heals are so expensive. It's probably a matter of balancing aggression and sustain so that you get enough out of your combos to get a kill before you're oom/zone the opponent enough than you get regen your mana without having to spend it on heals. (Sona's probably there too tbh but I just spam too much shit.)
No idea about Lulu, I know I can burn through flask before level 4 but I'm playing hyper-aggro with her, generally trying to zone/kill through poke before that point. Probably over-using E at level 2, and too bad to hit every single Q nor to auto enough.
I rarely have mana problems with Fiddle unless I have a lot of opportunities to E for poke (as in both champs running from their creep wave). I'd probably have more if I had the presence of mind of buying boots earlier, Cait is such a bitch to fear. ;_;

Old TT was at least 5x better than the current bastardization. They needed to just tweak what already existed and maybe touch itemization, but they tried to remake it with Dominion logic and gutted it. (And more mind-blowingly arbitrarily decided to make these sweeping changes only a few weeks before the season ended instead of deferring it.)

If you can time out enemy last hitting correctly, you can almost always get 1 or 2 free auto attack every time the enemy ADC tries to go for a greedy last hit (a little over extended; so usually when they're trying to last hit ranged creeps).
