Small town midwest represent! The mortgage for my house is like 60% of the figures you guys are throwing around lol. Also, I've resolved to reach Silver before the baby comes. That gives me like two months. Currently Bronze 1 with 60ish LP but I get to play ranked like once or twice a week for a few games. Wish me luck! | ||

Also. Do people still play Darius? And if not (because ranged solos are all the rage), then do people play him in the jungle? His base stats and ratios are pretty high, he could probably do well in the jungle as a tanky/CDR role and just spin, slow, pull, and dunk all day. | ||

He's super niche since his 1v2 sucks. He doesnt get pro play probably because his 1v2 isnt amazing,, hes a great jungle imo. I play him a lot lately Laning him vs jayce and kennen actually isnt too bad because their autos arent longer than your pull. So if they try to harass you just pull them and go allin. Jayce is worse because the knockback and safe farm ability, kennen really doable. | ||

In the first two tiers, my quality ranking of these masteries is approximately: Summoner CDR Item CDR (marginally situational, i may overvalue this though?) Mana Regen Out of Combat Movespeed Max Mana (unless my name is ryze) edit: it is, after all, the utility tree however, and so your choice boils down to which mastery gives more utility to your specific champion, pretty much. The only really clear-cut answer is that mana regen is generally better than max mana. | ||

Mana regen is pretty much always better than max mana unless you scale from max mana. Health is different since higher max hp means you have higher survivability in team fights, but only if you REACH the team fight with max hp; i.e. if you are jungling 24/7 and losing health with no sustain, a health regen item is effectively more hp. (This was the philo vs heart of gold discussion as 1st jungle gp5 item.) | ||
