I'm not going to translate them all, maybe I'll add some more as time passes by. MVP DanDy, the jungler for MVP Ozone, has been one of the key members responsible for MVP Ozone's recent success. He is known for his acute ganking ability, not to mention his tremendous map awareness that allows him to counter-gank at the right place at the right time.

Q: Why are you not popular despite being good?
DanDy: Imp's Vayne too stronk...

Q: What kind of runes are good for Elise jungle?
DanDy: Attack speed, or attack damage runes allow for a faster jungle clear than magic penetration runes.

Q: How do you feel about Kha'Zix jungle?
DanDy: Probably the same as I feel about Teemo jungle. Zed is definately worth trying out, however.

Q: Do you use smart-casting for jungle Lee Sin?
DanDy: Gosu Lee Sin players do not use smart-casting.

Q: Which champions do you rate the highest for the jungling position?
DanDy: Lee Sin, Elise, and Evelyn.

Q: I'm struggling with Elise jungle. She's a little slow, and I keep lagging behind the enemy jungle when I try to counter-gank or cover for my laners. How should I utilize Elise jungle?
DanDy: She is good for ganking, and is strong one-versus-one, so you should invade their jungle, and depending on the situation, proceed to gank the enemy laners or beat up the enemy jungler.

Q: I'm having difficulties with ganking the mid-lane as Elise jungle. Please give me some tips. Also, which jungling champions are good for solo-que apart from Lee Sin?
DanDy: Use E to close the gap on the enemy after transforming to Elise's spider form, and try to save up your coccoon for the right moment. As for good champions for solo-que, try out Jarvan IV, and Evelyn.

Q: I really suck at Lee Sin, do you have any tips?
DanDy: Use W for closing gaps, then slow them down, and practice finishing them off with your Q.

Q: I'm really interested in playing Udyr for its early game strength, and want to abuse its fast movement and its stance mechanics. How should I set my runes and masteries?
DanDy: Attack speed runes, and 0/9/21 masteries.

Q: How do you feel about jungle Skarner?
DanDy: Might as well ask me about jungle Heimerdinger.

Q: I would like to know about Cho'Gath's current status as a jungler. Plus do you have any pointers for its itemization and how I should approach the game?
DanDy: Cho'Gath is weak in two-versus-two situations, so you should always be aware of where the enemy is. As for the itemization, you should build Spirit of the Ancient Golem, then proceed to buy appropriate defensive items.

Q: How should I play Lee Sin?
DanDy: Counter-jungling is great for Lee Sin. Also, bottom-lane ganks suit Lee Sin these days.

Q: How would you rate these jungling champions: Lee Sin, Jarvan IV, Elise, Evelyn, Ramus.
DanDy: Lee Sin (SSS), Jarvan IV (S), Elise (SSS), Evelyn (SS), Ramus (A).

Q: Malzahar jungle is good, you should try it out sometime.
DanDy: Maybe in the next life.

Q: What is your opinon on Aatrox as a jungling champion?
DanDy: I don't think it'll be used as a jungler in competitions.

Q: Any champions that could threaten the frequently used jungling champions such as Lee Sin, Elise, and Evelyn?
DanDy: Nunu looks good.

Q: How do you set your runes for Elise?
DanDy: Attack speed red, yellow armour, blue AP, and purple AP.

Q: Where are some good positions to ward?
DanDy: If you manage to ward the bush above enemy red buff, as well as the inside bush next to the wraiths, it is basically like map-hacking.

Q: How do I do well in solo-que?
DanDy: Play Lee Sin.

Q: Which positions do you think has the most influence over a team's success? Are there any players from other teams that you find hard to gank?
DanDy: In order, jungle, middle, top, then bottom. EzHoon from MVP Blue is hard to gank.

Q: How would you rank the following champions: Elise, Jarvan IV, and Sejuani.
DanDy: In the following order: Elise, Jarvan IV, and Sejuani.

Q: Which champions go well with Jarvan IV, and Xin Zhao?
DanDy: Orianna, and Karthus.

Q: If you play a passive jungler and have your buffs taken due to counter-jungling, how do you overcome the disparity in levels?
DanDy: Pretend to gank a lane, then proceed to take their CS and share some of the experience.

Q: Why do Jarvan IV players max Q instead of E?
DanDy: It depends on your playstyle, but Q has a short cooldown period, and it is easy be on target with it, so that would be why. E has been nerfed somewhat, and I prefer to max Q on Jarvan IV.

Q: Is there an advantage to playing Warwick as a jungle?
DanDy: No.

Q: Which lane is easiest to gank?
DanDy: Top.

Q: What is your opinion on junglers from other teams? Especially Watch from Najin Black Sword, NoFe from Najin White Shield, and Beelzehan from SK Telecom T1 #1.
DanDy: Watch is scary to play against right now, NoFe has always been doing well, and I haven't played against Beelzehan, so I can't really comment on him.

Q: How do you feel about going Doran's Blade on Lee Sin?
DanDy: It's good. You have early game strength, and can out-duel the opponent in two-versus-two, or one-versus-one situations.

Q: Nunu is good, but I'm having trouble in two-versus-two situations. How should I itemize Nunu to prevent this kind of predicament?
DanDy: I tend to go for cooldown reduction items after getting a sightstone, but you should stay away from two-versus-two situations as much as possible. Your goal is to starve the enemy jungler by taking away his jungle.

Q: Which team member is the most popular with the girls?
DanDy: Homme, and imp.

Q: Is it good to buy boots of mobility if you have over a thousand goal the first time you recall to base, or should I consider buying other items?
DanDy: I always buy boots of mobility in that situation. It really suits champions such as Lee Sin or Elise.

Q: After the changes to the jungle spawn times, how do you think the metagame will change?
DanDy: The invades will change slightly, but apart from that I don't forsee any major shifts in the metagame.

Q: After these jungling changes, how should I play with Doran's Blade-first champions?
DanDy: Own the enemy's jungle.

Q: Are there any junglers in Korea you are wary of?
DanDy: I can't think of anyone apart from inSec.

Q: Why isn't Fiddlesticks used more in the game right now?
DanDy: It would be due to its lack of movement speed, and the metagame doesn't suit it right now.

Q: Any weird champions you've tried out?
DanDy: I had fun with Blitzcrank jungle.

Q: Why don't you try out Shaco?
DanDy: I'm afraid imp might hit me.

Q: Which champion should I master if I want to jungle?
DanDy: Lee Sin.

Q: Have you scrimmed against OMG from the Chinese region? What were your thoughts on them?
DanDy: We haven't played against them, but I feel like they could be a very strong team.

Q: The consensus was that the three best junglers in Korea were inSec, KaKAO, and DanDy. Now that the best jungler in the world, inSec, has changed his position to the top-lane, do you feel like you could be the best jungler in the world? Also, who would stand in your way in your efforts to getting that title?
DanDy: I thought I already was the best jungler in the world... as for potential challengers to the title, it would be inSec returning to his original position.

Q: Should I max E on Zed jungle?
DanDy: Try maxing Q.

Q: Could you name any junglers you feel like are performing well at the moment?
DanDy: KaKAO, Watch, and 이똥윤 (a jungler playing for an amateur team).

Q: Nunu is being banned a lot in foreign competitions, what are your thoughts on it?
DanDy: Nunu is OP.

Q: Thoughts on Cheonju?
DanDy: DanDy's Rumble > Cheonju's Rumble.

Q: Did you have any role models?
DanDy: MOKUZA, and CloudTemplar.

Q: Who are the three best junglers in the world?
DanDy: inSec/DanDy/Diamondprox.

But wait... What are his thoughts on Teemo and Heimerdinger jungles??

Thanks so much for this!! This AMA (and the interview with their Coach) has 100% turned me into an MVP Ozone fan. Now I want to go find out everything about MVP Ozone haha.

DanDy is so funny.

The zed question is interesting. I always thought E max was better for clearing speed but he suggests Q. Does anyone know why?

I'm surprised that DanDy doesn't use smartcast. His plays seem so fast and fluid.

I believe it's because of the nerf to his E which increased the CD to 4 sec from 3.

It's almost scary how everyone in Korea has so much reverence for Diamondprox. I haven't watched Gambit lately, does he really deserve such praise?

Lee Sin op, like I've always maintained. But no, the consensus of the ever-accurate TL LoL forum was that losing 10 armor made him unviable. So I guess Dandy is just full of shit.

Even professional players tend to be heavily biased, and are easily influenced by personal experience or viewpoint on topics such as this. The idea that Diamondprox is by far and away the best jungler outside of Korea, is something that was not concocted out of thin air, but it is undeniable that the notion was re-asserted by the media, the players, and through games that had high coverage.

It's the same reason why so many players from the Western hemisphere harped on about Misaya even after his slump, the same reason why MadLife is hailed as god for every decent move he makes, and the same reason why every single player out there guns for players with prestige. There's more to be gained for a player like DanDy if he out-performs inSec in the jungling position, even if it may be more difficult to out-perform someone like KaKAO, simply because the recognition for KaKAO isn't there yet. Doublelift gunned for WeiXiao even though Uzi was performing better at the time, and you'll notice that almost every single player out there will rate other players based on their personal experience, even if that mutual experience between those two players only portrayed a small percentage of the actual status of things.

The most heavily lauded players, the most successful players, the best performing players, and the best players in terms of pure gaming ability aren't necessarily the same thing, and often does not overlap. The only definite measure of a player is through his success, which makes our evaluation of various players very biased since we all know results alone aren't everything, yet our opinions on things like which players are performing the best are plagued by bias, prejudice, and preconceived notions.

As for why Diamondprox is so highly rated by Korean players, and the Korean scene in general. I could list a couple of things.

1) He is the starting member of M5/Gambit Gaming, the most successful team in the Western hemisphere in recent history. Being on a famous, successful team is almost a must if one hopes to be recognized abroad. As it happens, M5/Gambit Gaming ranks among the top when in that regard. It's the same for every region, but more evident in Korea because I don't think Korean professional players study the competitive scene in the Western hemisphere that much anymore, now that the Korean professional scene has found its ground.

2) There is little doubt that Diamondprox has influenced junglers from all over the world through his picks on champions such as Xin Zhao, Nasus, and Evelyn, to name a few. Of course, being an innovator means nothing by itself, but when added with the fact that his picks play a huge role in the workings of one of the most famous teams in the world brings in a lot of viewers, and respect amongst gamers that study him.

3) Success against Korean teams. There is no doubt that Diamondprox had some awesome performances against Korean teams in multiple competitions, playing a key role in some of the most crushing defeats Korean teams had on an international level, and while it may seem like an odd reason, remember that most professional players tend to rate the players that bested them higher than players who may have performed better overall, but failed to deliver against them on a personal level. This is a common trend I've seen in basically all the players in various regions.

4) Word of mouth. Repetition makes everything seem like it's true. Once you hear something over and over again, by your teammates, your coaches, and even the fans who know next to nothing, you're eventually going to buy into the hype.

As for someone like Saintvicious who came out favourably on multiple occasions versus Diamondprox, especially once you start to account for their relative stature in the world, will not appreciate the level of praise Diamondprox receives compared to himself, as one can expect. These are two ends of the spectrum. I have my own personal opinions on where Diamondprox lies exactly, but it is just my opinion, and I have been wrong about topics where I was much better informed on, so I'm as full of crap as anyone really.

In short, yes he does. If you watch him play he makes amazing decisions at all times and doesn't rely too much on ganking silly lanes. Does well almost regardless of anything.

Watch EU and NA LCS and you'll see why the champion receives a lot of flak.

Lee banned twice, picked six times and won four games in Europe. Much better than I expected tbh. Had Diamond's last Lee performance in my mind.

Lee banned five times, picked ten and won three times in NA. That 30% win rate is more my experience watching Lee's play in LCS. Maybe help team get ahead a bit early, then accomplish nothing since no one except c9 and maybe Vulcun know how to close games.

*Thanks for the translation by the way.
