It bugs me that people can do this, and still be viable. I think I actually lose more games vs all AD teams then I do vs normal comp teams..
I'll admit sometimes we have people on the team that don't adjust their builds accordingly..but I play in plat and most of the time I don't think that's the issue
You meet all AD teams alot? I see some compositions from time to time with heavy AD, but i see double AP way more often right now.

Who has time for Tiger (seriously, how do people go Tiger-dyr jungle, I don't get it) If someone knows, pls direct me to a good post in the Udyr page. Basically what you should know is(coming from me Gold 1 Jungle atm, like plat 4 or 5 elo tho.) is the runepage should always be the following assuming jungle phoenix(top lane tiger is a bit diff) AS - Red MS Quints Armor Yellow Flat/Scaling MR Blues RWRE R>W>E>Q, can also max Q instead of E if you wanna, but thats usually preference, usually just blue -> red, try to gank(take a point in bear at 3 if you can, if not get phoenix and continue farming) always ask about wards, try to come in from odd angles since you have no gap closer, unless you get really close with bear, stutter step constantly in phoenix also,so you can maximize auto attack dps, and keep the aoe on them. Also don't be afraid to counterjungle, and theres almost no jungles who can 1v1 you, if you have double buff most of them will actually have to run seeing you without team help cause you're retardedly strong early. Don't try to duel like nunu tho cuz he's tanky as fuck and their team will show up, so just stun him and peace out. builds usually -> Machete -> Spiritstone/Boots -> Boots 2 -> Aegis -> Bulwark/Randuins/Wits, depending on what you need really. I almost never get the spirit stone upgrade cause most games dont go that long tbh. Yeah, see this is EXACTLY what I do, but I know some people take early Tiger points sometimes. Is that any good?
The upsides: better single target dps, better ganks because you can proc red more easily with the increase attackspeed, dot damage so you may secure the kill even if they flash away, it's in most cases a better teamfight skill (including lvl 1 fights) than phoenix, you become an ultra good splitpusher because with botrk + tiger max you can basically a) solo kill b) chase down the vast majority of champions, and you also snowball way harder if you build some ad than tanky udyr does.
The downsides: slower jungle clear times (one of udyr's strengths), but that may be alievated a little if you just gank all the time. You also have higher mana usage in the jungle, considering udyr's fairly high mana costs, so you can't spam as much in skirmishes if you've been farming, you can't shove lanes super fast the way you can with 2x phoenix proc. Secondly, phoenix's strength is its insane base damage so you can build full tank, whereas with tiger you would ideally want to itemize into it a bit considering its crazy scaling (which makes you more squishy).
Tiger udyr works if you play him a little more like lee sin, as in you just gank all day and pick up kills, because phoenix is strictly superior in clearing the jungle. You have nowhere near the same playmaking ability as lee though, so it's not the greatest build order, but it's viable in the same way that virtually all champions are viable if you're good/comfortable enough with them.
alternatively, just go red elixer ignite top lane tiger udyr and all-in them and watch them die ridiculously fast.

I'll admit sometimes we have people on the team that don't adjust their builds accordingly..but I play in plat and most of the time I don't think that's the issue Yesterday i had to play against 5 AD's going straight mid, we went all mid too. We had to survive really hard till we got lvl 6. Keep in mind to get at least 2 champions with hard CC (i had Malphite and Annie's ult). They keep pushing the lanes till we where down 2 inhibitors, we didnt get any tower. But in the end they dont have that damage to survive. We won.
Not exaaaactly what I'm talking about. I mean like ad carry, some tanky jungle, some tanky support, ad caster mid/top kind of thing. This team should get stomped by armor. But they don't.
It's ridiculous how hard Bulwark counters 2 solo lane AP champs..nothing does that vs 2 solo lane AD champs

I disagree, in jungle Phoenix is strictly superior. If you can catch them with bear -> phoenix, and know how to stutter step(which isnt hard in the first place) you can keep red buff on them just like you could with tiger. Imo, unless youre going to cheese toplane lvl 1, then you should really be playing Phoenix jungle in all cases.
Getting a point in tiger at say lvl 8 or something is okay to speed up dragon attempts since it does give you a pretty stupid AS boost imo.

I'm really starting to get into MtG because I have a group of friends that play competitively. I've played a little in the past, but never with any real drive or desire to learn anything.
I'm now realizing this is gonna be a huge money sink Q.Q

Yeah, it's gonna cost you lol. Part of the reason I stopped playing. Great game though

Yeah. Fortunately, I have a Dark Ascension deck that can still be used in standard, and my friends are very generous with helping me soup it up a bit. My costs have been incredibly minimal thus far, although I'm sure that won't last.

Huge Money Sink. Are you playing MtG: Online or physical card?
From past experience since your playing in a group of friends. Do a card pool. Makes life easier on that money sink.

My favorite formats were always sealed deck and booster draft. I love trying to make stuff on the fly. Which is why I like ARAM, that's lol related right? :D

I had a game a few days ago that was so hilarious, I will probably never see such a game again.
Enemy team went 5 ADC's and didn't dodge. Cait/Ashe bot, AD Trist mid, Quinn top and Graves jungle.
Our Nautilus I shit you not built Frozen Heart, Thornmail, Ancient Golem, Ninja Tabi, Randuins and Sunfire and was 1v5ing them. Went like 30/4 or something.

Well, it's playing with friends, and I want to start going to tournaments as well. Not that I expect to do well at all with my deck, but I've always loved those kinds of tournaments (one of them is the same friend who I went to Melee tournaments with ages ago - Shminkledorf, if Smash sees this).

The only draft experience I have so far is boozecube with them a few weeks ago. I have requested that we do a booster draft soon so I can learn drafting and to expand my card pool.

Even doing a booster draft with 4 friends is just the most fun thing, and it's "more casual" as in "no collector has the huge advantage." You just have to be smart, which is FUCKING HARD (and super fun)

Booster drafts are really fun especially with friends. Although my favorites were Sealed Deck and Type 2 formats. Sadly, I can't play Friday Night Magic anymore because of the time I can't get out of work.

I really should sell some of my cards from like...8-10 years ago. I still have a bunch of dual and fetch lands, Force of Wills, Mana Crypt, and some other cards that are probably worth $30+ at this point.
